I am exclusively a guest who stays at Crescent Lake resorts, so I have reservations about whether the gondola will obstruct the skyline behind the Boardwalk.

I also would feel a little uneasy if I was lounging by the Boardwalk Inn quiet pool and potentially have a whole gondola system peering down at me. But hey, if they want a show, I'll put one on.

I think an interesting point to make about this project, is the amazing views of backstage Epcot that will be visible.

Anyone with Google Earth already has those views.

This represents what the closest a gondola would be coming to what I believe is the quiet pool you talk of. It's likely the gondola would be a little lower and further away.

Seems about right -- If it does go a bit lower, the trees should hypothetically block the pool area.

Guests in 3rd floor balcony rooms on the pool side will have better opportunity to peer down at you than those in the gondolas. I do love that pool too.

Any indication about the pricing of the resorts when the Gondola is linked up? I expect they'll go up due to their enhanced 'location'?

That is a contributing factor in getting approval but a small one. The lions share will come from DVC and resort fees.
