The show looks like it will be amazing!

Does anyone know if this show will include projections on other buildings than just the castle? Like Main Street buildings which they do at Disneyland?

My only concern is that every guest will want that perfect castle shot lined up perfectly for their view. We all know how crowded Magic Kingdom is during these shows and I can only imagine the Hub area will be a nightmare. I'd really love to see projections on Main Street, the buildings that surround the Hub and maybe the backside of the castle. Imagine the entire park lit up with effects during the show so that you can see the show no matter where you are at MK and each area could be a different experience. Not complaining, just dreaming! :)

But they're not complaining about nightly fireworks, those are to be expected. This was 1:30 am on a weeknight, unannounced to local residents from what I understand. That simply shows a lack of courtesy IMO. Fortunately this rarely happens, but I don't think we should be surprised that this upset those who weren't expecting it.

It was one time in how long? And yes it should have been announced to the local residents, I agree. WFTV wanted a news story out of nothing and got it.

Along with WOFL and prob the rest of local market which really disappoints me because I love that market. Prob because I love Orlando period. Hopefully we won't have a problem Monday and Wednesday morning. I also hope that the media won't feel like they got to follow up on this story.

I haven't seen anything saying projections or lighting effects will be outside the Hub area, but you never know I guess.

But you're right, it would be a cool thing to do. Imagine if, just as the chorus booms out "The story comes alive!", colored spot lights lit up various parts of each land, and then changed in sequence through the finale. Be pretty cool...

(Just to emphasize, no signs that anything like that is going to happen - purely fan dreaming!)

Certainly looks impressive anyway. Watched it again with brightness up and what I thought looked like possibly being (despite not yet being mentioned as part of the show )drones at 3:14, may be a light effect on a tree - but they do look behind it.

I usually keep to WFTV but I've had to turn off local news lately. It disappoints me as well. I don't watch WOFL.

I'll be honest to say that even that short little clip got me right in the feels... now the big ethical dilemma... do I watch more testing videos/early performance videos... or do I resist completely to keep it all a surprise until my next Disney visit (end of July)... ugh...
I'm already resisting the urge to watch the video multiple times lol. But I don't wanna ruin the wow factor in person.
