Yeah I thought he and @Magic Feather said a turn around time of 2 years, before or around when SWL opens. Also why BATB isn't coming because Disney wanted a ride there sooner.

The construction pace you will see on Rat is going to be the new happy medium construction rating. We are not going to have 7DMT Part Two: Electric Boogaloo again, but we aren't getting Transformers 2 either. I would say that this should be open between Gondalas and SWL.

This is excellent news! Although you must forgive me for being cautious with my enthusiasm. Do we know if this still planned for the open pad next the France Pavilion.

Seriously its crazy how many there are right now. And when that ball starts rolling, can't imagine how many more we'll have.
Back it will be exciting when it gets its own.

FWIW, I was told circa Labor Day 2019, but asalways it was subject to change, and this would not surprise me at all.

I'd imagine they'd love that (Guardians was meant to be a SWL diversion) but the most recent (very recent) date I heard was quarter two 2020. Unless of course yours is even more recent

It's a more efficient use of the space they have.

This should be the new standard. It's good for the company and the guests. The 3-D movie theaters could do this. The circle-Vision theaters. Both the former SuperStar television and Monster Sound Show theaters. The theater in France could have a live show (Moulin Rouge style) several times a day and show the outdated film (or even an updated one) otherwise. Even the woefully underutlized Fantasmic theater could be used for something during the day.

Unknown at this time. IDF could stay, and Rat could be built somewhere else on the France pad (or next door on the empty pad), or Rat takes over.
