I sure hope not! Go for a lower caf brew!

Caffeine values in coffee can vary enormously. The coffee blend, roast, brewing process, and many other factors can affect the caffeine content. The value above is from Starbucks.
I think that french pressed contains less caffeine.

Ha! Any newbies to this thread may as well be accepting of that from the time they find this thread. While we all often don't agree we are a strange little cyber family that when cooler heads prevail we are a pretty close group that has the skills to Move On. Topics really do move pretty quickly, harsh or happy. Pretty awesome that we don't take ourselves that seriously. Thank goodness.
Agree.

DL's PofTC might be my favorite thing ever (besides Star Wars, that is). Have no idea why WDW's is so inferior.

I find it funny that they never sealed the shaft from the Mine Train, so there was a random shaft just sitting there. :joyfull:

Yep, DLs version is definitely superior IMO, too.
The short answer that I've always heard is that it was a bit of a rush job.
When MK opened in '71, Guests complained there was no PotC like at DL. Even if they had never experienced the one at DL before, many had seen what it was when Walt introduced it on his TV show. Initially, Imagineers assumed that east coast guests (particularly southern) wouldn't be interested because of the familiarity with and proximity to the Caribbean. Thus, the originally planned Western River Expedition, that was to have BTMR built above it (the related shaft you mentioned, I believe). Plans were quickly changed after Guest complaints, so the WRE was abandoned for an abbreviated PotC that Disney wanted to have open before Christmas of '73. :)

Me too, which is why I will have to wait until I actually go to Pandora to see it. Disney just should have had a complete special with Joe Rohde doing the tour.

Favorite ride is BTMM. Favorite nostalgic ride is COP. The "makes me feel warm inside" ride would be the ferry boat to MK and watching the castle come into full view.
Our nice warm weather will be going away for the weekend also. They have 60 for Thursday, but 31 for Saturday and possible snow on Sunday.:(
My sympathy's. We are cool and rain coming, I hope!

OMG -- you are too funny!!! I can just see you doing that -- big fun for kids! :hilarious:

Hahaaa...!
Yea, it was a common thing back then, and was some good fun for us kiddos...! :)
Also, we did switch out, often enough, between the camper and the cab, especially as we got older. I am the oldest, so I rode with my pop a lot in the cab on about the last 2 trips before we moved back to Texas. It was easier to get truckers attention from there, too.
Through Arizona I remember riding shirtless most of the time. There were plastic seat covers in the cab, so you can imagine that combo, but, we definitely stayed cooler. There was no A/C in either the truck or the camper, so windows in both were pretty much always wide open.
I could write a whole chapter on just those trips alone.
We visited so many places along the way.
Everything from the LBJ Ranch, Grand Canyon, Painted Dessert, Petrified Forrest, Yuma Territorial Prison, to the Roy Rogers Museum in Victorville, CA. (now closed), etc.
Again, goooooood memories...!!!!! :)
