A permit was filed today for a new "overlook" off of the bridge over hourglass lake at Art of Animation. Note that the structure doesn't come out at a right angle from the bridge, it is angled a bit which would aim it towards the southern gondola station at CBR. It appears that this is the AOA/Pop gondola station.

Nice find Dan! So as many had guessed, the station will be at the bridge not the upper parking lot.

That's the perfect spot for it... very accessible from everywhere in both resorts, and it makes the people in the preferred rooms feel like they're getting their money's worth.

And the lake is kind of a built-in right of way, so the vertical climb can be fairly gentle until it reaches a necessary clearance height for Century Drive to the north.

I think this could still be a monorail expansion. This is no proof it has to be gondolas

If they want to serve the entirety of both resorts, and are only going to build one station, this is the most logical place to build it.

There's probably going to be between 70-90 cabins on each line so I don't think that's going to possible....

I highly doubt it. That would require a lot of CMs, and they did find that necessary for the skyway.

Using the CBR permit, the yellow does right down the center of where they are building the access road and hits hourglass lake exactly where the line I projected from the AOA/Pop station did, so everything lines up.
