from a raw possible stand point can you just crank up pressure on those systems ect? or is it more of the fixed variety?

The fountains were the least of their problems (though I do hope they fixed those issues)

RoL uses a very long throw water fountain. Very different to the 180 degree semi-circle of Fantasmic. The long throw is very susceptible to wind disturbance which breaks up the water screen.

But didn't they figure out how to solve and fix the problem with this back in December when they tested with CM's?

Its' been in a process of fixing for months. It was largely working by the time of the CM previews, but actually had a show stop on the first night of previews. So things still required work. That has been ongoing since December until now.

Don't worry, I know @prfctlyximprct has threatened to redact everyone's Rivers of Light Superfan status if they don't skip work and respond to previews within a timely fashion... but I hear she is rather nice and won't actually follow through.

They had lots of practice with crowd control during the summer Jungle Book show, so I wouldn't think they are that concerned about that.
