They do not. Or, at least, they didn't last year. (WDW putting them on rafts)

They piped in smoke to RoA at WDW, and that was about it. Tom Sawyer island is closed for the party, and so is the riverboat. The launching queues for these attractions (the riverboat and the rafts to TSI) are areas they use for candy distribution.

Last night was the first night. Always has big sales no matter what. Surprisingly, the storms passed in time too.

They seemed to have made some small changes to hocus pocus. Addition of lights behind the stage, pyro, and stage lighting. It looks "spell"tacular.

Watch a youtube video of it. The lighting has been enhanced from the previous year. It also looks like there might be lighting in the stage itself.

I believe that was added a few months ago as part of the stage renovations.

I should add " to the front of the stage" as there is lighting behind the stage for the castle.
