Thanks for this. No new play from me anytime soon but my last one just got nominated this week for Best New Play by the Arizoni Theatre Awards which honors the best productions throughout Arizona. Who-hoooo!

It was 1998. Which would have made me three. I also did not watch it when it originally aired (obviously) but my parents started me on reruns.

I have watched a few reruns, but never was a regular of the show on reruns.

Oh my goodness that gave me the biggest laugh, Walt came to see what my problem was.

@LuvDatMouse most of us know each other very well here, some for many many years. At times we refer to each other as family even though we are scattered around the States, Canada, Mexico and Europe etc.

My family hails from Northern IL @MinnieM123 hails more towards your region of the country and has the best Pup ever, Jack. You will learn to love to hear Jack stories.

Oh, Now I am getting it. Thanks for filling me in. I was getting seriously confused and I thought MinnieM123 was getting mad at me for saying that.

Amen. I remember that . . . then again, I like anything with a Rhapsody in Blue soundtrack behind it!

I also love the American in Paris soundtrack. I listened to that on the flight to Paris last year, and once in Paris I found myself humming the tune a lot.

Welcome to the boards! Graduation trips are pretty awesome, I had one for high school and college to Disney World. When I got my master's I decided Hawaii would be my reward for that. I went to a college that was close to home for the first year and a half, so I lived at home. It saved me a lot of money, but I really missed the dorm experience. When I transferred schools I lived in the dorms, but I wish I had just been in the dorms to begin with. There is a college about a 15 minute drive from where I teach and I encourage my students that go there to do the dorms if they can swing it financially as I think it is an important part of the college experience. So I'm glad you are going that route too, especially if your scholarship covers it.

Yes the University is actually close enough to home that I could have commuted if the scholarship didn't include housing. All I have to pay for is my books which is also expensive, but it is much better than it could have been without the scholarship.
