How did that happen? Those were the pieces just laid out in a parking lot, right? I know they were for a water park but how flamable can they possible be?

I was wondering the same thing. Just plastic in a dirt and asphalt lot, right? What actually burned? It's makes me wonder if there was some kind of paint or varnish involved.

Thank goodness I haven't heard any reports of injury.

They are assembling the pieces at that site so it could have been something focusing the sun on dry grass, a cigarette tossed by a worker or maybe they were grinding or welding. Anyway glad they put it out fast

If these things are that flammable how do they expect them to hold up when they are put right next to an active volcano. ;)

In all seriousness, I wonder if something nearby caught fire and the heat melted these pieces.
