Good morning my dh made me an offer I couldn't refuse LOL We realized check out day from SOG and checking into the condo later was going to be a crazy long day. So my dh wants to do something sneaky and have me think it's sweet. He says he'll duck out of the park grab a few groceries to get us through breakfast and drop them and the luggage in the condo and meet up with us before dinner. i say sneaky because he has a list of things he says I should do with the boys starting with SGE. I may duck out and catch the monorail or walk and grab a drink:D

You should be fine good luck tomorrow and I want a step counter. I start making ADRs next Tuesday.
The step counters never came in. :( I hope they will eventually make it. I'll just have to check back every day.

I get to start making ADRs in 37 minutes. I've tested out the system to see how it works. TOTALLY annoying that I have to refresh between each restaurant I want to look up. That's going to take forever. Wish me luck!!

Good luck! You might want to log on a few minutes early.

@Songbird76 do you have a plan for River of Light and Night safari built into your plans?
Nope...not really. I have days set for AK, but I don't have any set plans beyond which parks we go to on which day and where we're eating. Since they don't have that schedule up, I don't know when those things will be, so we'll have to figure that out closer to the time.

Keep your eyes out. They should both be open in time for us. I'm also hoping to snag an ADR for Tiffin's. I'll use Y&Y as a place holder just in case.

But, how old is he? At 12, I am starting to give up hope.
As far as the pizza, she hates Lou Malnati's. Her favorite is Domino's. :jawdrop: Loves cheeseburgers, but only if they are thin. Most burgers at Disney fell into the "too fat" category. So, she mostly eats nuggets when there. She recently added Mac n cheese to her diet. And she will begrudgingly eat a grilled cheese, as long as it is not too fat, and isn't too melty.
True story- at Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, she was living dangerously and got the chicken and pineapple flat bread, which we told her was kinda like pizza, but not a lot of cheese. It came out, and she wouldn't touch it. She thought the pineapple was on the side, not on it. Won't touch citrus. The waitress came by and noticed she didn't touch it, asked if she would like to try something else. So my 10 yr. old manages to order chicken nuggets off menu, and the waitress brings them out for her. I could tell they were the grown up ones from Columbia Harbour House. She ate those! So, if you are at a TS, and he can't find something, but wants something not on the menu, I would ask.
DS just turned 8 in December. I'm losing hope, too. But that's a good tip about asking....I guess you never know if you don't ask.

I'm loving all the older cards. I remember so well. We needed to bring in a decorated box for our school valentines. I would take last years and glue on the outside of the box. It is a fun memory. Thanks.:inlove:
We had contests to see who had the most creative boxes made...one year, a girl made a stereo and when you pushed down on the button, the "cassette deck" would open so you could put a card in. She won, of course.

Thanks all for the birthday wishes! I'm kickin' back in my room for a bit, finishing up my lunch and then at 2pm I have an interview with the psychologist doing the custody evaluation for my best friend who is also going through a divorce right now. I figured this would be my birthday gift to her. :D

Then, freshen up and back out into the parks! More pics coming up.
I'm sorry I'm late to the party, but happy birthday and have a great time in the parks!!! Is your friend's soon-to-be ex as delusional as yours?

Went to the grocery store today. Half the parking lot was still covered in snow. The store was obviously short-staffed. There were absolutely no kinds of fruit on sale. There were no bananas. There were no 18- count packs of eggs. The store-brand frozen broccolli was out. Amazingly, there was milk.

Also, am thinking I am a bit tired as I put the eggs in the freezer...
Were you able to get everything you absolutely needed at least? We always have that on holidays here because things close down for the holiday, so a couple of days before that, every supermarket turns into a complete zoo and everything is sold out. Like people think that they are going to starve in the 2 days that the grocery store is down and they'll never be able to buy whipping cream ever again!!

Because of the storm there have been a few issues with the stores being able to resupply in the hardest hit areas. I'm lucky when I went out Monday except for some fresh veggies mine wasn't too bad:)

Probably. Once she heard us go through our nighttime routine, she probably believed it was us. There was no solution for this, though, having her boarded or stay with a friend probably would have been even more traumatic.

Thinking we are going to get a house sitter next vacation, either my uncle or one of my best friends who my parents trust completely. Both of them like the cat and are liked by the cat, so we're thinking maybe she would be less lonely.
Once when I was in high school, a friend of mine went on vacation and they asked me to feed their pets....they had a cat and I kept going every day to feed her, but her bowl was still full. After a few days, I got worried...I knew cats weren't always social and this one in particular seemed to hate people in general, so at first I thought she was just hiding from me. But I could tell she wasn't eating and I wanted to coax her out, so I went looking for her. The family had shut some of the doors in the house and had accidentally shut her into one of the bedrooms and of course she couldn't open the door to get out. I opened the door and there was just this streak of fur shooting past me to get to her food. Poor baby must have been starved!!
