If she will eat any fruit or vegetable at all, my son wins the title of pickiest of picky. He won't eat fruit or veg at all. He eats spinach if it's mixed in with lasagna, and he'll eat peas in one particular dish, but that's it. Nothing else. He won't eat anything on a sandwich except butter and sprinkles or nutella. No ham, no cheese, not even grilled cheese. He basically has 5 or 6 things in his food likes. 1. Randang vlees, which is an indonesian thing...that's the one with the peas. 2. Lasagna, but only the stuff we make from a package and then usually only when Oma makes it. 3. Kibbeling, which is battered and deep fried fish..I think cod. 4. Pizza, but ONLY plain frozen pizza from Dr. Oetker. No delivery or anything. He's going to have to get over that if we wants to eat at Disney. 5. Chicken nuggets and fries, or Frikandel (Dutch deep fry snack) and fries, 6. Pancakes That's it....and sandwiches and croissants and that kind of thing. He won't eat eggs, he won't eat most meats..can't feed him a burger or chicken breast or a pork chop. He won't eat spaghetti or any other kind of pasta except lasagna. I'm really worried about Disney food with him, but I'm hoping the lack of choices might stimulate his willingness to TRY something else, like pizza that's not from one particular brand, etc.
But, how old is he? At 12, I am starting to give up hope.
As far as the pizza, she hates Lou Malnati's. Her favorite is Domino's. :jawdrop: Loves cheeseburgers, but only if they are thin. Most burgers at Disney fell into the "too fat" category. So, she mostly eats nuggets when there. She recently added Mac n cheese to her diet. And she will begrudgingly eat a grilled cheese, as long as it is not too fat, and isn't too melty.
True story- at Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, she was living dangerously and got the chicken and pineapple flat bread, which we told her was kinda like pizza, but not a lot of cheese. It came out, and she wouldn't touch it. She thought the pineapple was on the side, not on it. Won't touch citrus. The waitress came by and noticed she didn't touch it, asked if she would like to try something else. So my 10 yr. old manages to order chicken nuggets off menu, and the waitress brings them out for her. I could tell they were the grown up ones from Columbia Harbour House. She ate those! So, if you are at a TS, and he can't find something, but wants something not on the menu, I would ask.

My DD was always a healthy eater and ate most things minus fish. Loved pasta, still does. DS OMG a clone of your DS. He lived on Chicken Strips (oh how I miss those). He also had a texture thing and a messy thing, he didn't like to touch things that got his hands or face messy. There is hope. He is now a very adventuresome young man and tries more things than I do and I'm pretty open to trying even if I have to spat it out. lol One of things he will not eat is mashed potatoes. It is a texture thing with him.
That's it! Texture issues, and doesn't want to get messy! She did finally start eating some mashed potatoes, and baked.

Never heard back from the docs office today. When I finally decided to call them at 3p (they were, supposedly, open 'til 3:30 today), it sent me to the recording. And, then again the next 3 times, my last try bein' at 3:27p. :bored:
Has never happened before, so I'll cut 'em some slack this time, but, NOBODY was available to just sit there and answer the phone 'til 3:30p...?! o_O
Oh well, I'll roust 'em first thing tomorrow morning. ;)
I hope you get some news tomorrow. And you are on the mend!

I haven't taken any since last night. I took two, and, boy howdy, did they ever help, though...!
And, nope, I'm at the office and feeling much better. I think the cherry extract may be helping too (just like it seemed to last time - after a coupla' days), 'cause I woke up this morning with less swelling and pain, and more range of movement...the anti inflammatory did nothing of the sort, that was noticeable, anyway. :)
Glad to be of help with the cherry juice. Hope it keeps getting better!

Yes, he's definitely completely moved out now. But now he's blaming me again for our daughter being sick. I picked her up on Friday and she said she had a scratchy throat, but she seemed OK on Saturday and wanted to do something fun, so we went to Knott's Berry Farm. I guess maybe it wasn't the best idea, but I wanted her to be able to have fun given the stress she had to endure during the week. Then on Sunday I made sure we stayed home and she got as much rest as possible, but she still had tons of energy and just wanted to play. Mr. Donkey emailed me this afternoon, saying she's sick again and what happened this weekend. I told him about her scratchy throat on Friday and he said I'm lying. So I said if she's really sick, then take her to the doctor. I want to hear from the doctor how sick she is because I can't believe anything he says anymore. This morning she was on the tired side, but still seemed fine. I asked him if he's going to take her to see the doctor, but still no response. So tired of all his carp.

What is LM?
I hope he finally lets go of his behavior, this is not good for DD. So , so sorry.
