I'm glad my neighborhood doesn't have a crazy HOA. I hear Coral Gables (which is literally across the street from me) has some crazy laws about what you can do with your house. Some things include you can't paint your house certain colors or park a truck outside your house.
We can only have approved colors, and we have to get permission if we want to paint the house the same color it already is. No cars or any vehicles allowed to be parked outside of garage for more than 3 days.

I didn't care for it, too heavy on depression to little on the happy. It sure wasn't marketed as an adult or older child movie and think they are going to do well with the Sadness doll for little kid dolls are Christmas. Minions likely hitting a better overall audience.
I think we'll have to agree to disagree. I think the movie never got too sad and might actually help kids cope when they are depressed. Too many depressed kids won't tell their parents when they need help, but that's what they need to do. Riley needed to feel sad in order to feel happy again. Joy and Sadness had to work together in order to make things better. Sadness was also more empathetic than Joy. So she was needed. I don't think it was depressing at all. I think Riley was just growing up and dealing with a tough situation.

I thought it was great, but definitely for older kids.

Wow! The first thing I noticed was how tidy your house is. ;) (Can't exactly say the same for mine. )

That looks so pretty and inviting--maybe I'll stop over for dessert on Thanksgiving! :hungry:

I didn't know you were an artist, in addition to all your other talents!  What a nice painting, and it goes perfectly well with your dining room decor. I'm impressed!! :cat:
Thank you, with just the two of us, we don't leave a lot of stuff around. This was one of my first paintings, I did years, ago. I like to change décor around the holidays, makes the season fun. Many of these things I have collected over many years. I used a throw on the table from Ikea, it was only 19.00$. I thought that was a bargain, for a table covering. Thanks for the compliment, on the painting.

And on Friday I will be at WDW! My husband still doesn't know yet! I have decided to tell him on Wednesday night. I had a scare though on Friday as Delta sent out a email to both me and my husband about our upcoming trip to Orlando! Luckily I broke into his email and deleted it before he saw it.
It's great that you are able to pull this surprise off. I love spontaneous trips.

So I came across this at Tokyo Disneysea featuring Scrooge and Marie. Where Scrooge Mcduck along with Marie and Berlioz are playing with a trash bin. Berlioz and later Marie start messing with Scrooge much to his annoyance.

Another amusing video from the resort has Marie and Scrooge heading backstage. Marie is messing around and Scrooge is waiting for her.

So this is what Scrooge has been up to after Ducktales ended and when he isn't at WDW during the Christmas season.

Sorry, but I could never deal with all of that! I wouldn't like folks telling me what to plant, how to paint, and what I can and can't do on my own property. I'm really digging the space that the horse farm provides. The sound system in the machine shed is 1,000 watts per channel and no one complains when I crank it up! :)

I liked Megamind - it had some pretty funny moments. I think you'd really enjoy Dragon, too. I dare you not to fall in love with Toothless!

you better give him some time for the surprise, because can you imagine if he has to work or had planned something and you suddenly out of nowhere you scream " WE RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!"

Most of the Denver area, has HOA's. I had a neighbor that had a travel trailor, and had to park it away from the home. I hate it too. But selling in our area is very hard. People have heard all over the state about the crazy HOA, in my town.
