the SNES platform one?
god I hate that game, so hard for me!
I swear I never went past level 3.. (the forest scene)
NES! And funnily enough, the level you describe is one of the easier ones. Today I got all the way to Fat Cat the end of Zone J (the last level), but I used all of my lives and continues getting there, and I died quickly...

And I just finished The Rescuers Down Under. While I don't completely hate the movie anymore, I'm still not a fan and cannot see why people like it better than the first. The introduction is so drawn out that the rest of the plot moves way too quickly to compensate, and Cody and the other side animals are really annoying.

despicable me is not from dreamworks.. its from illuminations entertainment.

Theres a lot of animation studios lately, that makes people confuse them.

For example.. Rio was made by Bluesky, Escape from planet Earth was by Rainmaker, Despicable me by Illuminations, Hotel Transylvania by Sony Animation Studios... and there are a few other..
Then I change my answer: other than Disney and Pixar movies, I don't go out of my way to see animated films. Pretty much unless someone else wants to see the movie. Which is how I ended up seeing The Lorax.

Wait, it isn't? Huh, so I guess the lone shred of respect I had for DreamWorks was misguided. At this point the only DW movies I like are Shrek 1, Madagascar 1, Over the Hedge, and Bee Movie; it's been years since I've seen any of them, though.
bee movie was the most strangest movie I've ever seen..
I dont know if I puked.. or laughed or cried..or all of them at same time.. :hilarious:

no love for how to train your dragon? :(
or hotel Transylvania?
Never saw either one of those, nope. Outside of Disney, I own all of the Shrek movies and Puss in Boots. I also saw Megamind and the Lorax. Both of those were cute. Basically, my mom and I watched Shrek when it first came on TV and then went out and bought the DVD. I love the Shrek movies, especially when they brought on Puss. I love Puss. As far as movies go, I don't go to a lot of movies because they are expensive, so sometimes I just buy them on DVD. As a result, I end up missing quite a few movies unless there's something that really appeals to me (I've seen most of the Marvels, for instance) or I wait for a lot of them to come to Netflix or on TV. But then again, I tend to go more for live action movies than animation, outside of Disney/Pixar. Nothing against them; that's just the way I am, and to be honest, I rarely even think about them.

I liked Megamind - it had some pretty funny moments. I think you'd really enjoy Dragon, too. I dare you not to fall in love with Toothless!

But there was a point to it: You can't be happy all the time; Sadness had her place. When she couldn't feel sad or happy, she started acting out, but then finally allowing herself to feel some sadness helped make everything better. Joy and Sadness had to learn to work together.

This one was directed more towards older kids and adults and families, not young kids. I think I appreciated it more as an adult and having taken introductory psychology. Also, it reminded me of Cranium Command.

I didn't care for it, too heavy on depression to little on the happy. It sure wasn't marketed as an adult or older child movie and think they are going to do well with the Sadness doll for little kid dolls are Christmas. Minions likely hitting a better overall audience.

For the most part DVDs are getting pretty cheap at certain times of the year and having Netflix and cable I watch many at home, theaters are so expensive but the major theaters have student nights so both of my kids go on those nights. Both still have active college IDs.

Thanks for your review, my DD told me never to watch it. I couldn't take kids abuse, having been through that myself. Not family. I'm glad she watches over me. She knows the topics I can't take. I have a great DD, so thankful for her!

I'm right there with ya sister friend. My DD as an adult is a BFF now. She is my rock and I am hers. I love our relationship as adults.
