Sympathy like. Dish washer and washing machine are 2 things we dare not cheap out on. My dishwasher runs twice a day some days:eek: On holidays the poor thing never gets any rest like me:hilarious:
Agree.
Also depends on your town.. sometimes you will need other more than the other.
In my house for example, the dryer is a must.
Because our water contains a lot of minerals (even when filtered) and when you dry via sun/air..the clothes feel hard as a sheetrock.

Grind? In the supermarket, they have spices all ready to use in little jars, and you don't have to grind anything! ;)

Oh, a few weeks ago, I was looking in the back of one of my kitchen cabinets, and I found a spice jar from a market that I don't shop at anymore; so the spice bottle was 5 years old. :cautious: I chucked it into the basket, because I assume you should change up the spice bottles by about the 4th year, right? I figure that's what real gourmands do. :D
The problem is, a lot of these spices have been for a bit of time in display. Herbs and Spices lose power over time, specially when they get in direct contact to the sun.

That's an excellent idea! My dh is thinking about shipping home some Disney goodies:eek: There goes his diet
We've shipped home souvenirs. The first time was snowglobes right after 9/11. We've also shipped a box to our resort for when we were there. When my daughter was little it was easier to ship a box of diapers/Little Swimmers than take an extra suitcase.

We did that for our kids, when they were first married. We made up the gifts, one for each day....nothing expensive, candy, note paper pencils, etc. Wrapped them all up and gave them to the kids at Thanksgiving. They loved coming home from work to see what the day's surprise was. Being newly married, they didn't have a lot of money for each other, it stretched out the fun for them, and us.
That's awesome. :)
