Sympathy like!!!!!! I'm sending prayers, pixie dust and an extra large case of bubble wrapOh and I went back to the doctor today about my hand (for the newbees, I tore a ligament in my thumb and had surgery about five weeks ago). Doctor sent me in for an x-ray, which I thought was odd, but I went with it. Doctor came in to see me and asked how I was feeling. Honestly, I've been feeling good, so that's what I told him. He pressed over the incision on the top of my hand and asked if it hurt. It's mostly numb there, but it hurt a bit. Apparently, when they went in there, it cracked the bone a little bit there. Which explains why I haven't been able to move my index finger properly (same bone). He said it should heel on its own, but I have to go back in in two weeks for another x-ray just to be sure. In the meantime, no sports, no heavy lifting. I should be playing piano as therapy though, he said, an the thumb itself is heeling nicely.
On the plus side, this means no dishes yet...and now I can say I've had a broken bone.
It's 74 degrees out here. I feel like running to the hills singing about how they're alive with the sound of music, but that might get me some strange looks.

Tell me about it LOLI used to be able to sleep through anything, but no more. Not since becoming a mommy.
I wish I could get my boys to sit for dinner without me getting the evil eye. Next trip I may do a dinner or 2 and send them on their way!The one thing that I do differently is that I LOVE my sit down breakfasts and dinners at Disney. I like a good balanced breakfast to start my day before all of the walking. As for dinner- some of my favorite restaurants that I've ever been to are at Disney. I think about those meals constantly between trips. We do a long, sit down dinner every night.
ROFLMAO You get the post of the day award just for the laugh I had!going to take a couple minutes of very valuable time to comment on this for @JenniferS. how did you how did you manage to arrange to have six Canadians at my table on the ship? All from Ontario!
I'd love an old treadle machine! My grandmother had one, why she donated it to the church rummage sale I'll never know. I know they were down sizing but I would have gladly found room for it in my room!!!!!!!!!!!
I love lazy days.I just realized that it's almost 4 pm, and I'm still in my pjs.
Should I even bother putting on real clothes at this point?
Heels and a birthday suit would be cold.I don't own a suit.
Unless you're talking about bathing suits. Then that would be super ridiculous. And cold.![]()

Isn't it funny how differently we were all brought up? Mom told my sister who was the prettiest, that she should go all out to catch a man. She ended up marrying someone who abused her.Huh...my mom didn't let me wear makeup. I remember once when I was 17 or 18 and my mom had told me I could wear a little bit to the school dance. I put on a bit of eyeliner and that was it and I was leaving and my mom said "Don't you think you have a bit too much makeup on?" and I said "nope!" and walked out the door before she could tell me to go wash it off.
he might give you some that have been bad for a year or so..![]()
Wow, that must be tough in the teenage years.nowadays, everyone can be "offended" over anything.
"omg, you have a pimple! this offends me!"
I know, I love any picture.....not fond of snow, but I love when we get so much that everything stops. So peaceful, and calming.I'm glad to hear that. I always try to post a variety. Even the snow ones (that some poo-poo about) have a touch of beauty to them I think.
Don't fall for that hubby looked at reviews, it seems it falls apart really quickly. I loved the looks and asked him to check it out. He loves research, some of what he did in the energy business, along with wind towers and solar panels. To make a long story short ( whoops, missed that)..... people didn't like that it fell apart very quickly....I just noticed Samantha Brown is selling travel stuff on HSN. She has some expensive luggage.![]()
I don't get time to cook dinner at home as often as I probably should so we eat in restaurants on a regular basis anyway. My girls are just used to it I guess. My husband is a stickler on table manners so they know what's expected at meal time regardless of where we are.I wish I could get my boys to sit for dinner without me getting the evil eye. Next trip I may do a dinner or 2 and send them on their way!![]()
Speak for yourself, I find @donaldtooThat would be pretty hot depending who was wearing that or should I say "not wearing that"![]()
