And the "snow" at MK is so magical. If we had the money, I would love to do that again. But, I will forever miss the Osborne lights.
DS went with his marching band just after Christmas for three days (This was a few years back). He still talks about how they made it snow. He was just like, I just got out of cold and snow, I don't want to see it in FL. He's his mother's boy.

If some kids didn't get driven to another neighbourhood, they wouldn't be able to trick or treat. We can walk everywhere in our neighbourhood and it's mostly single-house dwellings, so we just stay here. But I'm thinking of the people that live out in the country where houses are few and far between. Or those that live downtown where there are a lot of apartment buildings that they can't access.

Now, parents trick-or-treating? That's just weird. I do have a bag of treats the whole time in my hand but that's just because the kids have small little buckets and when they get full, they dump them into larger bags that we carry for them. (Fools, I know. :)) But I have never gone to a house and asked for candy. That seems hilarious to me. :D I can't believe parents have the gall to do that!

I understand the kids that need to relocate to trick or treat. We know where these families are coming from and why they load a full size fan full of people. (city stickers on vehicle)

I have a friend on the other side of town that hands out candy to the kids and offers up can of beer to the parents he knows accompanying their kids.
