we are the opposites, both my mother and I love the Good Wife.. Michael J. Fox was the best villain in the series.. you instantly hated him for the way he did his turnarounds and dirty tricks!Good Wife was incredibly annoying, although I did like the episodes that Michael J. Fox was on. I watched the first few episodes of House of Cards, and even though I really liked it, it wasn't enough to keep my attention. I think I would like West Wing. Love Big Bang!!![]()
we're going to be at 9:40, I wonder if they allow us to get there early to see the Wishes, then get to our seat.I do, I do! Well, actually, we didn't reserve to watch Wishes, but when our waiter found out this was our first time there he told us to take our time enjoying our meal (as we were seated by the window), so we could watch it. I think our reservation was around 7pm, so we were there for 3 hours!
but chinese is a nationality. That's interesting. I don't get that connotation at all. To me it's no different than being called Chinese.
I was making the name a bit more cat-related.Huh??![]()
And don't forget the part about how it also sounds like completely abnormal humans that are not up to standards. Native American keeps them in the group with the rest of the people and merely says... "We were here first." Any other way just smacks of separating groups of people from what the PC people consider normal.I still think "natives" doesnt sound as rude as "aboriginal" or similar.
Aboriginal usually sounds like someone who has no education, no culture and live pretty wild.
Yea, but being called Chinese means that you are just from another country. Native Americans are not in the real sense of the word nor are they different from any other american, be they from Canada or the U.S. They just were the ones that tied up the "explorers" boats when they landed. That's interesting. I don't get that connotation at all. To me it's no different than being called Chinese.

"feed me seymour" seymour is the name.. thus the cat = seympurr
anyway.. nevermind, carry on!![]()
BRRRR!Happy Wednesday! It was 34 degrees by me this morning. Last year the first snow was November 6th. I think we will beat that this year...
Holy carp. Where do you buy your beef??????I don't think so as beef starts at $10 a pound![]()

all other timeslots are full.

not a description of someone who has lived in the area.
Aboriginal and Indians are usually words used by imperial groups when they define the natives in a bad way (uncultured..savage..etc..)
