My hubby is pretty happy. He wasn't home to watch the end, so I recorded it for him. Once he saw it he did a happy dance, he is still pretty excited!

I talked to my son, he is over the moon. Me, I've been down this road before, remember that tree. So guarded. But Happy for my Cubby Bears. I actually like this Manager a great deal, win or loose. He embraces life.

Actually, it's quite handy for some men who want to bond with their babies just as mothers do. I read a couple of stories particularly about male couples who did that. Apparently it's documented.

Pass.
There were plenty of other ways for me, as a father, to bond with my children.
For instance, participating as fully as I could in late night feedings.
Baby would start to cry. It was my job to go to baby, check diaper, change if needed (when didn't it ;)), and bring baby to mommy in bed. Afterwards, reverse and put baby back to sleep.
I, at one point, also got all 3 kiddos off to school (from wake 'til "Have a great day! I love you!") for 7 straight years, because of DWifey's work schedule. I could go on.
I was a very involved father, and still am, as is lovingly reasonable at this point in their lives. :)

Plus, (and yes, I'm aware men can sometimes lactate - although I don't know under what circumstances, and I'm not going to Google it right now) they may have started to resent me for the fact they were gettin' a whole lot from mom and nothin' from me. ;)

Also, can you imagine the reaction to a man "b r e a s t feeding" in public...?!
What about, as some women do, a man "b r e a s t feeding" a 4 year old. :hilarious:

As @Cesar R M would post...
Nope, nope, nope...!!! :joyfull: ;) :)

As if air travel isn't fun enough. Rumored patent applied for by AirBus for stacking passenger seating

And that is when they started their tree farm so there would be many trees to pick from in the future at various maturity levels. Still why if something happens to a tree in theory they could plop a similar one in its place almost overnight. Happened in years gone bye don't know if there is that devotion to trees any longer. Haven't heard much in recent years about how active that tree farm is vs years ago.

Yes, as I've posted before, Bill Evans would not be a happy man.

I remember one year...I don't remember what grade I was in, but it was elementary school, and one of our songs for the Christmas concert got pulled at the last minute because parents complained about the lyrics...it was called the 12 days after Christmas...I still remember the first bit: "The first day after Christmas, my true love and I had a fight. And so I chopped the pear tree down, and burned it just for spite. And with a single cartridge, I shot that blasted partridge, my true love, my true love, my true love gave to me."
:jawdrop:

If you have a chance listen to the Twisted Christmas CDs. Similar. They are hilarious if you keep them in the comedic context. We had a tradition of listening to them on Christmas Eve commuting back and forth to my folks home.

No
And...I'm sick. Feel like I've been hit by a truck. Didn't go to my last class. Would have pushed through, and I thought I would, but my asthma was bad. Was going to go to class, and then decided that it was a really dumb idea to risk not being able to breath just for one measly class.

Thankfully for tomorrow, no work, and class at 2 pm, and then home.

One of the common ones that we used in Vermont when someone asked how to get to Maine was... "Ya can't get they-ah from he-ah!

Tried that once, but, it didn't work. I couldn't figure out how to milk a Soy Bean.

Mine was always.... Useless as a milk pail under a bull.
There were other much more "colorful" ones, but this is a family board.
pretty sure you can "milk" a bull.. but the content wont be of your taste :hilarious:
