It sounds like school starts is setting your time for the next week or so. I am always wistful at this time of year. I love seeing all the little kids walking to the bus stop in the morning. They look so joyful at the beginning of the year. By the end, not so much.Time well spent!
DS started band camp, today! Long day for him out in the hot and humid temps. Luckily, he is very good about keeping hydrated.
DD is back to school next Monday. DS doesn't go back until late next week, so DH is taking off work, so they can fit in a couple more college visits.
Great idea @MouseDreaming....I might never "get around" to finishing those chores!Judging from all of the pretty pictures, I think it was a summer well spent! Save the projects for when you get around to it.

Sympathy like, I hate spending money on appliances, there are so many other ways to enjoy using your money. Vacuum, not at all.I have to get laundry going, and restock the fridge and pantry. Target trip today! Oh, and I need to get a new vacuum. Mine died yesterday.
I'm not feeling the "cleaning" job, either. So I'm on here "talking" to all the friends.Your day sounds like what I was planning (except for the vacuum) and when I woke I just wasn't feeling it. So I'm sitting on the porch with the laptop and dog. I think I might work on one of my digital photo books instead.
I know this subject is on another thread, are you guys excited for the Hollywood Studio's remake? I have mixed feelings. I wanted a little more Pixar stuff. The family coaster sounds okay. Don't know if I'll be able to ride it though. I was hoping for Car's Land, I love looking at the one in DL. Never gone there, so I don't know if it's as good as it looks.
The boys went with their parents to Disney Land. They seem to like Disney World better. Now I would probably like Disney Land, a lot, as there is not as much walking. Just have to talk hubby into it. He likes the convenience of Magical Express, and no carrying around bags. Can't blame him for that. It's truly a vacation for him, not having to do anything, but take bags to check-in.I'm pretty excited for both Toy Story land and Star Wars land (hubby is super excited about Star Wars). I'm kind of glad that Disney isn't bringing Cars Land to WDW. Don't get me wrong I think Cars Land is fantastic, just like stepping into the movie, and a favorite spot for us in California Adventure park but I like that it will be unique to DL. It gives me a reason to go to both WDW and DL when they have things that are unique to each resort. I wish that Disney would make the two Star Wars lands different in both WDW and DL when they build them but I fear that they will be clones of each other.
Betty, I think you should take the grandkids to DL if you've never been. It is great!
We went to target over the weekend, sympathy for the vacuumI have to get laundry going, and restock the fridge and pantry. Target trip today! Oh, and I need to get a new vacuum. Mine died yesterday.

I am excited about both of these, although I wish Star Wars would have come about sooner. Both Star Wars and Toy Story make a lot of sense to me. I still don't get Avatar. And it might be 2050 like @StarWarsGirl95 was "joking" if the time line of Avatar is any indication.I know this subject is on another thread, are you guys excited for the Hollywood Studio's remake? Good morning, Figgy!Good morning @MouseDreaming
THNX I should be good for the restaurant and a little better than 50/50 for the film. Now I have too many MK places to eat on my list, so if I don't get one I'll be fine. It looks like some new films should also be in ST by the time I get there! It's going to be a great trip!I am excited about both of these, although I wish Star Wars would have come about sooner. I am really excited about the Jungle Cruise cafe, although we kinda already knew about that. And the new Soarin' film. I hope both of those are in place by the time @figmentfan423 goes.
Have you heard anything about what the menu will be like? Is the café going to be a sit down or quick serve? I love the thought of a new restaurant in Magic Kingdom. I just hope they keep it open year round. If it takes until 2050, I have to enjoy from the "other side".I am excited about both of these, although I wish Star Wars would have come about sooner. No idea about the menu. I am thinking maybe a little exotic. But don't worry. They say it all tastes like chicken.Have you heard anything about what the menu will be like?
