Biscuits and Gravy never appealed to me whatsoever so my kids were never exposed to them. Then they went several hours South to College. When we were in Central Illinois last week one of my DD breakfasts was Biscuits and Gravy. Me I had the Whip Cream & Strawberry Stuffed French Toast, sprinkled with powder sugar and topped with some more fresh whip cream. No regrets

I would be willing to trade my biscuits and gravy for this.

I love brownies too. Have not made them in a while. I start out with the deluxe dry mix and then I alter it as I like very moist brownies, all gooey. I add an extra egg to counter the liquid chocolate I sub for half of the water called for. Then I pour half the brownie batter in the pan and and cover the entire top with Ghirardeli semi sweet chocolate chips and then cover it with the balance of batter. Dear Lord they are good and sickeningly rich. When my dream of Florida relocation is realized some day I will have to make you a pan when you are on vacation.

Now the first cool day I'm sure I'll be baking brownies. :hungry:
I use Ghirardelli semi sweet chocolate too, and sometimes put peanut butter icing on top. :hungry::D

Given my mother and her ankles, there are plenty of sprains left in my future.

One time, I remembered her stepping off the fireplace hearth and going completely down. She screamed for me because she needed her brace. I initially thought I was in trouble and ran up like a soldier to her, wondering what I had done.
Sorry about your mother's ankles. Hubby has the same problem. I loved to ice skate, hubby didn't have strong enough ankles to wear skates.

Good morning all. Are you having fun yet? I'm finally getting back to the cleaning. Got derailed to take a couple short trips, and spend the last week before school with the Grandson's.:happy:
Time well spent!
DS started band camp, today! Long day for him out in the hot and humid temps. Luckily, he is very good about keeping hydrated.

DD is back to school next Monday. DS doesn't go back until late next week, so DH is taking off work, so they can fit in a couple more college visits.

Liquid chocolate? Is that like chocolate syrup that you use for half the water? I haven't ever heard of that, but it is a genius idea!
