We had an intense storm around 830 last night. It only lasted about 20 minutes and then rain for the next hour. During that hour there was one very loud crack of lightening. It caught my attention cause one it rattled my house and two the severe storm was a good 30 miles beneath us and I had heard from my DD that she closed the waterpark so I was thinking of her and her guards walking around putting the park to bed.

This morning I went to the very back of my property behind the garage to see if the plants got enough water last night and I look over the fence at my neighbor and her deck, it has a huge hole in it and the two rails that HAD held a pretty flower box were charcoal. Her other neighbor woke to the thunder (elderly old man) and saw twelve foot flames shooting from her deck, ran out and started squirting it with the hose. He said his brain woke up and called 911. My neighbor was in Michigan for a wedding and actually had to park in the street because there was fire trucks everywhere. She said she started to walk up her driveway thinking the firefighters were at some other house. One stopped her and asked where she was going as she started to walk up the driveway. She said I live here. His response was her deck was on fire.

Now I know why my house rattled so bad and my DD said she would have liked to have known all this when patrons were questioning her judgement for closing the waterpark after the severe had moved south.

That's actually quite impressive that your scores are still among the highest, even years later. Then again, I'm not really surprised, because you are very intelligent. I could see you being a whiz on a number of the gaming options at DQ. Isn't DQ going to close down soon, or have I got my rumors mixed up with something else? (Wouldn't be the first time! )

pretty sure it takes more than intelligence to be on the top of guitar hero. Requires sync and coordination.

Yep, math and science were issues for me too, yet so how I ended up being an engineer. Go figure....

that makes us.. hu.. 3?
I blew geometry and statistics and didnt do very well (at first) in advanced math.
In the other side, I was very good at Chem/Nature type courses, algebra, advanced calculus..etc..

Well Star expansion just hit our evening news, repeating what we've all heard, ending with no timeline by Iger. Made me chuckle. Normally I only hear that type of comment from fan base not local news.

Thanks, she ate all her food tonight for supper. She didn't pick out anything, just ate it all. She is so weird sometimes. I wouldn't trader her for anything though.

That's how I feel about Walt, wouldn't trade him. My loyalist Pup to me was Jethro Bodine but Walt is by far the funniest and the most quirky Pup I've owned. He can be aloof and his favorite person is my DS and prefers men even though the women tend to his needs and daily attention. But let me leave for a few days like last weekend and he certainly appreciates my return. He is a complicated fella.

I agree. Two areas that were not starved for attention. While Norway ride did need an overhaul to fix water issues like Splash did a few years back it was a nice pavilion. So many more areas of Epcot that cried for attention. I will welcome an addition to Soarin however my opinion has always been it is over crowded only because of the lack of viable attractions in Future World.

In other news.. we celebrated my sis bday today.
Was good to get her to Outback.
But annoyed that they ran out of Bloomin' onion and their wings are not very spicy.
Still, had my favorite steak with extra sauce

Glad you had a great meal with your Sis. Still how does one run out of a Bloomin' Onion. It is a freak'n onion dipped raw into batter in a fryer. Who runs out of onions?
