What about bowling, then . . . would you travel halfway around the world to play bowling at the fancy bowling place they have now? :D

My guess is that DQ, as well as the bowling place (I can't remember the name of it), and the movie theater complex are all there for rainy days, as an incentive to lure guests into that area--and subsequently relieve them of more of their hard-earned cash--once they also "roam" into the stores!
It's called Splitsville. I've never been and don't plan on it. I love rain at Disney the chickens leave and I get shorter lines:D

I absolutely agree. I mean, with the price of park tickets around $100, I can't justify wasting time and even more money to either go bowling or see a movie. The only reason why I've gone to DQ in the past is because I always get the hopper with water parks fun and more options, so I've used an option to go to DQ. If it wasn't covered, I'd never pay to go there. (I never use all the options as it is, so it's no big deal to use one for DQ.)

Where do you get tickets for $100? I want in on that deal!

I make biscuits all the time. :) Sausage gravy and biscuits are one of my daughter's main requests when it's cold outside.
That is the one thing that will keep me from the Great Southerners Hall of Fame. I don't like biscuits. Never have, never will. Too dry, with or without gravy. Down here it is something that is used for every occasion, but, I continue to refrain from participation. I'm hoping that my love of Corn Bread will at least give me an honorable mention, but, I'm not counting on it.

Chitlins would be next on my list even though every mega grocery store I've been in sells them along side pork chops and steaks. About 50 miles or so from where I live is a place called Nahunta Pork Center which has highway signs that are designed after the South of the Border** highway signs on I-95, except cheaper looking, where you can buy Whole Pig Faces. Not sure who exactly buys them, however, they do sell them.

But, I digress, what were we talking about? Oh, yea... Biscuits. Don't like them.

** For those that have never taken the road trip from the northeast to Florida have missed out on that reference and experience of what just might be the 8th Wonder of the World, says Pedro!
