Interesting...
I always thought it was the other way around. People without hips need belts to hold their pants up, whereas, people with hips, not so much...?

It is strange, but lacking hips the belt just moves straight on down with shorts when cargo pockets are loaded down. I'm guessing with hips the belt around the waist is smaller than the hips so the weighted down cargo short can't get past the hips?

No apology needed. I was just chiming in that since it was briefly turning into a "Let's all go drinking" thread (which isn't why The Mom created it) I didn't want to be lumped in that category. I guess I could have stopped reading this thread (like some other members have) until the subject changed but I find it as webhome for now.

I'm glad you chose to stay.

Does anyone have fun plans for tomorrow? We are celebrating hubby's birthday, tomorrow...it's really Tuesday, but the week end cooks are better. We are going to the mountains for a few hours. We always do that on his birthday. We have some really nice , easy trails. And at only about 9,000 ft above sea level.

We are going to see The Gift. It's a new movie out. It's supposed to be scary or a thriller.

Bad new Verizon wireless customers....They are getting rid of contracts. So I need a need phone tomorrow because it doesn't go into affect til the 13th. My current contract has been up for a while. But what to get?

No worries, I think I mentioned it like 300 pages back when you were away for a bit. I try not to dwell much on it on this thread, as I don't want to be a downer. Plus chatting with all you nice people helps keep my mind off it.
