I liked that movie a lot. "But I am your daughter..."Ooh, have you seen The Others with Nicole Kidman? Normally I don't like her as an actress, but I really liked that movie.
Just fine. They start with classroom. When we get to actual driving, I may feel differently.EEEKKKKK How are your nerves holding up?
I liked The Sixth Sense too. Did you get the significance of the color red?I loved that movie as well, her acting was really good. I like it when I get surprised at the end. Oh, I liked 6th sense too, Haley Joel Osment , was really good for his age.
Sympathy like. Is this a thing now? I am really hoping this was an isolated incident. There's one in every group!Same thing happened at my ds' concerts this year
My boy has a way of blowing through hummus. Today he put away 1/2 the container for breakfast.I love my boys but sometimesI went to the health food store and the raw no sugar or salt peanut butter they grind there was on sale so I got 2 pounds. My boys asked for sandwiches for lunch so I went to get it out it was gone that and all the bread! 2 pounds and a whole loaf of bread gone since yesterday!
I didn't even get any. That stuff's not cheap! I love them, but today I'm not sure I like them!
Oh dear, my grandma found Facebook...![]()

It happened at both the concerts for us this year, my nephew's concert.Sympathy like. Is this a thing now? I am really hoping this was an isolated incident.
Who knows. And it was a group, so it isn't like you could hear how your specific kid played this beautifully. That's strange. I'm surprised she wasn't asked to move. Why would she want to stand behind and get video? Does she really like recording the back of (I'm assuming) her kid's head?
Snack! I make hummus I start with 2 pounds of dried beans gone in no time. BOYS!My boy has a way of blowing through hummus. Today he put away 1/2 the container for breakfast.
Theres always THAT person in every event imho.Umm, so this happened yesterday.
DD had her summer band concert yesterday. It was 7th and 8th grade orchestra followed by 7th and 8th grade band. Very nice. In a school gym. So, if you can picture it, the kids are on chairs on the gym floor in a semi circle facing the audience (in bleachers for the most part) with the conductor up front. Since it is a gym, there were a few parents that taped the concert while standing by the wall. To the side, out of the way. No problem.
Except one woman. She stood behind the orchestra kids, right in front of the conductor, and captured the whole thing on her IPhone. It was weird. I'm sure her kid was really happy about it, too. And she will probably be the most recognized person in town, because she is now on countless others' video. I should see if someone put it up on youtube.![]()
probably all blurry, with ISO noise and in vertical position. She was distracting to the conductor, as well. But, she got the video she wanted.
Lovely...It happened at both the concerts for us this year, my nephew's concert.'s with phones blocking everybody else's view seem to be everywhere these days. The ones doing it with selfie stix are the worst from what I've heard.
just remind them that bread makes you fatI love my boys but sometimesI went to the health food store and the raw no sugar or salt peanut butter they grind there was on sale so I got 2 pounds. Considering how overpriced sun glasses in areas like Disney Springs... BIG NOPE for me.Pretty no doubt. The last time I was in DTD I did both a day and a night visit. The one thing I noticed both times was the guests not carrying loads of bags which could be room delivery for some but the total lack of lines to pay for merchandis. Walk right up. I can believe on weekends especially the bars being a place to go. The restaurants once everyone has done something once I wonder how often guests will keep returning at those prices. Earls, fair price for Disney QS is always packed as is Ghiradelli's at night. Same somewhat for the high end stores, will they survive. I know from what my DS explained over the years how much revenue came from the Brazilian guests, rooms, types of admission, merchandise, just a huge outlay of money above and beyond what other demographics of the world plunk down. Now that their economy is correcting and has leveled to put it very mildly, I wonder about some of these stores having that many guests financially able to shop in these non Disney type venues, Disney stuff is expensive but nothing in comparison some of the Springs stores popping up. I saw lots of folks window shopping the high end sunglasses but never actually saw anyone purchasing.
I know the original pitch was believing guests would tack on another day just for Springs, it being an answer to guests wandering over to Universal which at the time of Springs pitch Universal was going gang busters with expansion plans for resorts and new attractions. Plus having brought kids to Disney for decades you can only shop with kids so long and if you are going shop till you drop the last thing you are going to do is then plop them in a high end restaruant and expect them to be happy campers. At best at night you have a couple of hours with kids before they crash after being in the heat and parks, same too for resort guests.
Like I said, the jury is still out and for a few years guests local and vacationing are going to check it out. Longevity I wonder about. I tend to believe the overwhelming majority are going to be like you, Earl, ice cream, few Disney Shops and out of there.
Good morning @StarWarsGirl95
