That sounds like lots of fun. I'll be at the pool if it's nice.:joyfull: Come on 90:oops:

This past weekend I did a riverwalk in the lazy river. You can walk with or against the current. It is an hour class and you can also walk up to the waterslides and have the force of the water massage you. It was interesting but I'm not sure I'll do it again. Some of these ole gals are crazy ladies. Making up rules as they go along. A simple exercise made complicated. Some of elderly are hard to cope with. I was more like the kids and the gentleman. Water-Walk. Not complicated.

Well, I'm exhausted. Will have to catch up on the tech talk tomorrow. Although my brilliant plan of staying home tomorrow won't happen. Cat needs to get her shots updated, and guess when I have time to do that? She's laying here not suspecting a thing...just purring and purring...

Then I have to wash the car, make some phone calls, do something for school (it's chasing me!), and some other stuff that I don't particularly feel like doing but that I have to do. At least I get to sleep until 10. I'm over my jet lag, fyi.
Know that feeling, I have a great deal on my plate right now and don't want to deal with any of it.

How is your hand this week?

He loves me. What can I say?
You're very fortunate. Some people marry the wrong person, or they get married and the marriages end badly, and it's just rough. You've got a happy marriage, you obviously love your husband, and he obviously loves you, so you're both very fortunate. To still adore each other after years and years of marriage, including after having a rough time with the kids...you're extremely fortunate. :)

I'd go for the family suite. We like to spread out on vacation. Which is funny because we don't see much of the condo except to sleep, shower and breakfast

If you don't mind me asking, what condo group do you use? You seem to be happy with it. How does it compare price wise with onsight accommodations? As much as I love love staying on sight with discounts, sometimes I'd like more than two beds for longer visits and with EMHs looming to end the need doesn't seem to be there anymore.

Eh, okay. It kind of cycles. Doctor said it's just taking its good old time to heal. The more I wear the brace and the less I do with it, the better it feels, so I wear the brace and don't use the thumb. I haven't been reduced to tears in a while because of it, so that's good.

WOO HOO CONGRATS Let's hear it for @Goofyernmost!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go. 10 inches off the middle I'm so jealous!

I'm happy for @Goofyernmost too. I carried more weight than I should have but nothing major however I have lost a great deal of weight over the last 6 months and am now to the weight of pre children, a healthy weight. People have really noticed. I'm eating better, healthy portions and exercising and gave up soda, drinking more water instead. Strangely the comments from most are not nice, it is more maudlin. Sometime you just can't win with people, especially those struggling with weight issues themselves. I have had that natural tendency to be thin most of my life and hit that normal middle age weight. Reverting to what I was seems to be a bad thing to some. Odd.

Well that is good to hear. I've been there, it is annoying and more of a helpless feeling. Plus it is aggravating not being able to do what you should be able to do. When I threw out my back several years ago and took 1 1/2 years to get past, I did that by getting up off the couch. Nothing stupid. Just standing up. Go figure. My DD has messed her ankle so many times, seems to be her weak point. Glad you're moving in the right direction.

Sympathy like. My dh came home yesterday and the first thing he did was put on the A/C. He then proceeded to call me cheap. Comfy not cheap!:D

Sorry, I'm kinda with the DH. We are a 70's kinda family year round. The thermostat is 68 to 70 year round. While I like the outside warm I like to come indoors to that temp especially to sleep.

The funniest thing that happened after dropping quite a bit of weight was while shopping with my dh. A friend who we hadn't seen since before starting down my path to better health started giving me the stink eye. My dh went over to her and asked what was wrong, well she started to explain how she was really hating "me" because she liked me and didn't want my dh to be with somebody new. She didn't recognize me, gee drop a few pounds and get a new hair style. LOL Needless to say she sent quite a bit of time telling me how sorry she was.

Ha! Great Story!

Oy. The first year I was married my DH the softball ball player he was ripped out both his ACL completely and totaled the cartilage. I think we were out 20K but fortunately back in the day we could have dual insurance and mine was better than his so most of that knee replacement was covered but the various surgeries were over 100K back then.

Hope your knees keep holding up!
THNX My knees are even better now years after. I do tons of walking and can now do HIIT. So far so good. We're park commandos open to close and never had a problem. I think PT before and after and a top sports doctor also helped.

Congrats on being over you JL. My dh is on a new schedule and starts work one hour earlier so guess who has to be up even earlier? LOL

We've used Award who has merged with Contempo. Contempokissimmee is the sight 3br 2.5 bath condo about 5-10 minutes from parking $108 per night. Fully stocked kitchen living room and each br has a tv. That's the only way we can swing long visits. I'd love to stay on sight but 2 boys and us 1 bathroom for a few weeks NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Downside they aren't themed, no EMH or+10 for diningand, fp+ 30 days instead of 60. VS a much longer vacation the Disney portion will be 14 full days. I hope that helped We got a better rate by booking early and being return customers. But it never hurts to ask for discounts.

I got a notice for an upgrade to windows 10 free upgrade. I hate this version I have. Any thoughts anyone. Should be out by the end of the month.

First of all, I know nothing about computers. Having stated that, unless you're a techie whiz like Cesar RM, and know how to fix or find go-arounds in "new" computer things, maybe wait a while and see what the bugs are in the 10 version, that other people will write about. Once it's been road tested for a few months anyway, then maybe rethink about whether you want it or not. (That's my 1 cent of advice--not even worth two cents . . . :p)

You go, girl !!!! :joyfull: :joyfull: Congratulations on your weight loss. It's not easy to do. You'll probably see a post I wrote about a day ago, in which I also commented on how some people get really strange when (for whatever reasons) they can't deal with the "new" slimmer, post-dieting, person. As you mentioned above, you can't win with people sometimes, and you know what? I could care less about them. Keep on doing what you're doing; the changes you made are all positive!!

Not fun that's it been taking so long to heal. Yet, you're probably somewhat used to it at this point, and remember, things are bound to get better. Hang in there. :cat:
