Has anyone stayed at AOA? The reason I am asking is because I am undecided between AOA and PORS for our next trip. It will be 3 adults (me, DW and my sister) and 2, 3 year old's in one room. I am leaning towards PORS but DW towards AOA. Thoughts?
I have stayed at AOA, but not PORS. My impressions of AOA, we stayed in the mermaid rooms. They are probably too small for your party. They were quiet as they had no designated pool. So I can't tell you about the noise from the pools. The room was extremely clean, we were given a nice supply of towels, and toiletries. The atmosphere for 3 year olds, would be perfect. The grounds are cute. The pools fun for families. We don't swim, but observed families having fun in the pools. The Landscape of flavors, has a really good food court. Especially for breakfast. They have a nice, small gift shopping area. Back to food, they have a nice size grab and go area too. We found the busses, average for Disney. Hope this helps. And someone else can fill you in on PORS.

That is really sad to see. Does anyone know, if people babies are having defects too? That doesn't look good for people living in the nuclear age.

I was in a rather bad car accident and even with set belts on both knees slammed into the dash. So between that and a few sports injuries over the years my doc said to get it done and I'm happy I did. They're almost like new :)I've had both knees scoped. One more than once. I think they are now worth more than my house:hilarious:
So sorry to hear about your accident, I'm glad they were fixed. You have a very positive outlook, for what you have been through.

Well that's lousey that no one noticed the difference in your looks and the massive effort you put in to reach your goal. At one point in my life, I dropped around 45 pounds. Everyone at work noticed, and there were a few who thought I should stop (at a comfortable point in "their mind" . . .). I had 10 pounds more to lose at that point. Between my doctor and myself, that would bring me to a proper weight for my height, etc. I even told them I was under a doctor's supervision on this.

Yet, even with that, there were some that couldn't deal with accepting my new look (believe me, I wasn't skinny--never was in my life . . . ). It got to the point where I was actually telling people to back off and that my doctor knew better than they did. I don't know, sometimes, if it was a jealousy thing on their part or what, but they got on my nerves. Thankfully, most people were very supportive, asked me for diet tips (I told them to just eat smaller portions, cut way down on sweets, etc.).
Yes, that's the healthiest way, and it's easier to do than cut everything out. Portion size rules. And good morning.

That is exactly what I did. All previous attempts to diet have gotten me no place. This time I decided that it was going to be long range even if it got me to the point of looking great the day before I leave this mortal coil. (Still might be the case) Dieting always made me upset, not because of hunger, but, because of depriving myself of all the things I really like, so before long, it was thrown out the window.

This time I just felt that if I didn't try and rush it and just cut back, still eating what I liked but not as much of it, then it might work. I combined that with walking. My knee accident makes it so walking is the best I can do. It took awhile to get my muscles back to actual movement again, but, again over time, my ability to maintain uninterrupted walking came back and even a little of my flexibility. I still have a ways to go, but, even though every once in a while I get impatient, I have no plans to alter the course.

The funniest thing that happened after dropping quite a bit of weight was while shopping with my dh. A friend who we hadn't seen since before starting down my path to better health started giving me the stink eye. My dh went over to her and asked what was wrong, well she started to explain how she was really hating "me" because she liked me and didn't want my dh to be with somebody new. She didn't recognize me, gee drop a few pounds and get a new hair style. LOL Needless to say she sent quite a bit of time telling me how sorry she was.
It's hard to get a new hair style if you are bald. My only option would be to have it tattooed.

Some schools require the students to read over the summer so their brains do not go to mush. My district does not have anything mandatory for K-8, but encourages at least 20 minutes a day. I require an hour.:D Although my little guy has been known to curl up with books on rainy days for several hours:)

Oh, I know. I was just bein' silly! :)
Good that he likes to read...!
