Well, you know Hubby and I are carnivores and loves us some steak! My steak at Yachtsman was the best I have ever had! The fact that they let me swap my side for any I wished was a big bonus.
And the onion pull-aparts ... I am swooning as I type.

That being said, Mike rated Narcoossee's slightly higher. Certainly a classier setting.
That looks delicious!!!! :D
Speaking of food.
I wonder how hard will be to get some reservations on the end of the year dates...

Some more pictures of Windsor, Kensington Palace & Hyde Park

I like how they made the moat of Windsor Castle into garden area. (not for visitors to roam around in though)

We watched the changing of the guards here at Windsor instead of Buckingham Palace because we heard it was just as good, not as crowded, and we would be closer to the actual guards. It was nice to see but a lot of standing by the guards.

We were there on July 1st, Princess Diana's birthday. Some people had left tributes to her on the gates.

@figmentfan423 My brother had a friend over who spent the night, and before heading out with my friend, I was at home with them this morning. They were being really noisy in the basement, playing with the air hockey table, not really using it for air hockey, more playing with the noisy scoreboard. They weren't really hurting anything; it was just kind of annoying, but I let it go. I put Star Trek: TNG on Netflix on the flat screen for myself. All of the sudden, they both came up, sat down on the couch, and watched the entire episode. Why did I not think of that sooner?:hilarious:
I'm glad it worked out for you. My younger ds wants to know of I can swap his brother for you, because you like Star Trek. Before feeling honored, he'd swap his brother for almost any video game too:hilarious:

Yep, we drive the carp outta' our vehicles, too.
Plus, the last new one we bought was in '90. Everything since has been used. :)

It's purely economics for us (we buy what we can afford, as do many others). In one of Clark Howard's shows Ii'm not sure if he's on CNN currently, but he used to have excellent shows about all kinds of financial things), he talked about car insurance.

It never really dawned on me, until I saw this particular show, just how much difference in insurance premium rates there are between a brand new vehicle, and one that is 1-2 years old, or older. He was saying that you can get a very good used car (with carefully researched buying, etc.) for a few, (or more), years old; and the insurance drops dramatically. That completely changed my view of used cars. Prior to that, I thought you should only buy a new car.

Well, so much for 24 hours at home. I was going to spend 24 hours at home, but a friend who I have not seen in months called and we made plans. So it was nice, and the weather is gorgeous.

I don't think 24 hours at home is happening any time soon. It's a good thing in that I've been catching up with a lot of people who I haven't gotten to see as much during the semester. But I'm more than a bit tired (and I don't think catching up on this thread is happening).

@catmom46 Hope you are having an awesome WDW trip.

Well, I am going to bed. Less than 12 hours and I am out the door again.

Places to go, things to do, people to see . . . very busy life! :p :cat:
