Went back to the doctor about my thumb.

Good news: he does not think I completely tore the ligament. Just partially. So for now, no surgery.
Bad news: He said at least another 6 weeks of recovery, that this could be a six month recovery (he said this is worse than a break), and that there is a possibility that I will need surgery down the line. :arghh::banghead:

For now, though, just giving it time.
Sympathy like. Hopefully it will heal before you get too far into the school year.

Shoe shopping can be frustrating because I don't think many of the shoe companies produce carefully made shoes, as they did in the past. I find now that if I have a measured shoe size, I still end up with different sizes depending upon the shoe company. Drives me crazy!!

As you said, unless you can try it on first, it makes it difficult to order online. Sometimes when I order online, I'll order two sizes, just to make sure my feet fit correctly in one of them, and then return the other pair.

Unless I know the brand I usually order a couple sizes whether it be shoes or clothes. That is why when I find something I like and it fits well I usually buy it in multiple colors.

I've done that, too. I hate trying on things, and once I find something (a brand, a style, etc.) that fits and I really like it, I just keep ordering the same things until they stop making them! ;)

Oh wow, if WDW's is supposed to be bigger, then Disneyland's must be as big as a closet! Unless I somehow missed another room at WDW, it didn't look much bigger than 15x20. I'm sure @BuddyThomas can confirm if my size perspective is correct, though. :)
The Trader Sam's at WDW is tiny, tiny, tiny. It was okay and all, but honestly not worth a 2 hour wait in my opinion unless you are spending that 2 hours at O'hana or another restaurant. I didn't read this entire page so I hope I'm posting to the relevant topic.

Do you know what I've noticed lately over here? That when it rains, it rains in buckets. Never slow rain anymore. Not sure if's climate change related (warming or cooling depending on what articles you read) but it makes for hard times on the road.

It's the time of year. The summer always kicks up more heavier downpours due to all the heat and humidity. I think maybe you're probably driving more as well, since you got your job a few months ago. Maybe that's why you're more aware of the heavier rain on the roads now.

We had dinner at Boma tonight and while it was nice, I don't think I'd do it again. The roasted chicken was super yummy, and I liked the lobster stew and zebra domes (of course), but that's about it. Good thing we're on the dining plan cuz it wasn't worth $40 to me! :greedy:
My DS is down there with his friends now. They did Boma last night, the night before was 'Ohana and tonight was Biergarten. I'm beginning to sense a theme for their dinner selections.... ;)

Until then, here's a much milder version from our safari the other day:

I always just assumed it was something unusual that you didn't want to share with the crowd. :) I just kind of think of you as Mox or Moxie (which was my tabby's name:joyfull:). I'm curious as to what it means, but I've known you, what, two years now, and figured if you wanted to share, you would have shared. No biggie. :)

For me, there are enough people with my name that I don't mind sharing it, but I don't share pics of myself. Pictures of myself are reserved for Facebook. But I don't fault members who DO want to share pics. All depends. :)

I haven't finished sharing my London photos so if it is okay I will share some more today and probably finish up tomorrow.

The Tower Bridge

The Tower of London, it was an awesome place to visit. It was fascinating to see the crown jewels (no pictures allowed in there). I could see myself in those jewels!

Just what I picture when I think of London

Our double decker tour guide told us this little park helped inspire some of Mary Poppins, I don't know if that is true but I could picture Bert doing some chalk drawings out front.

Speaking of Mary Poppins...here is St. Paul's Cathedral. It was amazing inside (no pictures allowed in there either). Feed the Birds kept going through my head though!
IMG_0009.JPG

Westminster Abby (again also gorgeous on the inside and no pictures allowed). At one point while touring I imagined I was Kate marching down the aisle (yep I'm a nerd). We also went back for the Evensong worship service, listening to the choir while looking at the amazing artwork around me just leaves me speechless.

We also toured Winston Chuchill's War Room, underground bunkers, it is amazing to think that people spent so much of WWII down there living and planning out the war. This is one of the meeting rooms.

I'm sure many of you have a picture of these from Epcot.
