Then wouldn't just posting on here, no name, no address, no connecting numbers give them the same opportunity to connect with those things. It would have to be considered a "footprint" wouldn't it? There may be a bunch of pictures, but, it is unlikely that they are linkable. I'll take your word for it if they can be, you're the expert, however, it would have to be explained to me, in detail, what kind of David Copperfield magic it would take.

Obviously, anytime you use the interwebs to record your CC numbers, addresses or other things like phone #'s you have put yourself at a higher risk of someone getting that information and using it against you. To post a picture on a discussion board, I would think, carries very little, if any, risk.
The point is just do not mention too much personal information.

I think some photos there and here are fine.
But not if you go into barrage of posting where you are 24/7.
I had a cousin who was so addicted to twitter and facebook.. and he posted his whereabouts every hour or so. (including GPS or place information)
Many people did this, then people started to get easily kidnapped thanks to this information. (didnt help the "friend" frenzy on facebook, where idiots added everyone as friends, and they ended adding a kidnapper).

But giving every single detail of personal life.. is indeed a red flag.

Just heard from my grandmother. She says he is doing better and that it was allergies. The doctor also reminded her that he is 98. We've been used to him seeming and acting much younger for years (he was riding his bike several miles a day when he was well into his 90s; he only recently gave that up). Hard to see his body betraying him now. :(

So very glad to hear it was only allergies!
Also, sorry to hear, although it is difficult to expect otherwise at his age, that he is slowing down a bit.
Hope he is with y'all for many more years...! :)
