This morning, I texted my grandmother. She said that last night my stepgrandfather had not been doing well. I asked her what that meant. She said his breathing had been bad and she had been worried that he was dying. Which then prompted me to call her to figure out what was going on, had she taken him to the hospital, if not, was he going to the doctor, was she alone, did she need someone to come up, what was going on. After talking to her for a while about what was going on (she is not alone; she has a friend there) and discovering that his physical therapist told him to take Clairatin, he took one several days ago, and that he had been outside a good bit yesterday, I told her I thought it might just be allergies (especially since other than being tired, he doesn't otherwise feel bad) and to call me after his doctor's appointment tomorrow.

So now that we've had our scare for today...I'm very much hoping I'm right. We'll find out tomorrow.

Sympathy like. Best wishes to hlm.

I've had three of their swimsuits (I like variety; I'm so stylish you know! ). They've all held up well. One of them I've had for about 6 years.

I'm certainly no "fashion expert" but I would think that keeping the same swimsuit for 6 years would pretty much throw you out of the club.

No, I don't think so. He is in Israel. That's not the problem. The few things that have been mentioned are the situation. Posting inappropriate pictures (multi), taking over threads seemingly to make it his own instead of making his own thread, using the martyr excuse every time someone tries to kindly direct him to posting guide lines and not being able to be trusted concerning his stories, situations and motivations. The lying incident involved telling everyone that he was leaving the country to work in the Peace Corps. Not to go into total detail, but, many people offered congratulations, support and praise. Someone finally called him on the details and he readily admitted that he made the whole thing up (as a joke) and didn't think anyone would take him seriously. Then just within the last few days, has said that he was depressed and calling out for help. Even if true, lying to people as a reaction to depression is not something that is acceptable. The Mom even came on and reported that this was not the first time this had happened with him on the boards.

So because of that I do not trust him to do anything but be who he has been in the past. This recent coverage of his newly made Israeli Citizenship after living there for 4 days just leads me to not be overly believing. Anyway, I should have just kept out of it, and from this point on, I will, but, I do hate to see all of us being taken for chumps. He has yelled wolf often enough now to not have earned my faith in him. And that will be the end of my comments on the subject.

not to mention he has violated the rule of the forum quite a few times. Including having multiple accounts.
I am not 100% sure, but I think this "progress city" account... is his third.
most of the drama being with his past account.

We were definitively not happy with the big deception he tried to pull quite a few times before.

Hello everyone! First full day of the DS at camp. The excitement was yesterday. Summer came...and my air conditioning left. It crashed at 5PM on a Sunday. And today was the first very hot day of the year (RealFeel above 100).

But, this story has a happy ending! Repair man came, fixed it, and now it is wonderfully comfortable!

Can you imagine if it failed on Friday? Having to endure the entire weekend in sweat-zone conditions.. nope nope nope!

I love the Cancun and Riviera Maya beaches. The sand is so cool all the time and doesn't burn my feet, I think one of our guides down there said it was because of the limestone. The water is so pretty too. The Pacific side has a different sort of beauty. Thanks for sharing the beach pictures.

Actually, all the sand in Cancun and the Rivera, is very fine coral that was worn down.
It doesn't retain the heat, it sorta reflects the sun's heat back. The limestone DOES get hot..

I saw the number two Minion movie, this afternoon with our DD and grandkids. I must say it was my favorite. I fell in love with Agnes, Gru, and Nancy. It was a quick paced and funny movie! I also liked 1 and 3, but 2 was the best. Just my opinion. Actually I liked them all, good music, and good humor.

I sympathize with your friend. If I don't blow dry my hair and I go outside, it just kind of goes everywhere this time of year.

I can do one of two things:
Pull it back: the lazy method; usually this is what I do when I have no place to be. Although a jaws clip plus my new Hawaiian flower hair clips for some reason makes people think I took time to do my hair, when in reality it took me 5 minutes
Blow dry it and add some product: that way, when it curls (because it will curl), it's not frizzy, and the curls tend to be bigger and fewer rather than a lot of little curls.

I have to do either one of those two things. Otherwise, it'll just be everywhere. Recently, it's been getting pulled back a good bit. Humidity+long hair really doesn't go together.

I understand, though. Other than that time I posted a pic of my bum hand, I've never posted a pic of myself or any of my family. Not comfortable posting pics without their permission, and frankly, not real comfortable posting pics of myself either. Just the cat. She's adorable
