I agree with @StarWarsGirl95 about Lands End, but I also think that L L Bean has some nice suits as well. (I like the two piece ones, myself.) They're a bit pricey, but really hold up between the chlorine in the pools and multiple wearings. I hope you find a nice new bathing suit.
If the LL Bean swimsuits are anything like their backpacks, they will also hold up. Have had two LL Bean Backpacks. Got one in middle school, had it until the end of high school when we donated it and I got my one for college, which has gone with me to WDW (My friend and I abandoned our purses in the room and put our stuff in the backpack, then alternated who carried it, so it's been to every park and on most of the rides) and Hawaii, plus to school obviously, and you cannot tell that that backpack has been everywhere. My old one was in such good condition that we donated it. I really just needed something slightly bigger with a laptop sleeve for college. Love their backpacks.

Hello everyone! First full day of the DS at camp. The excitement was yesterday. Summer came...and my air conditioning left. It crashed at 5PM on a Sunday. And today was the first very hot day of the year (RealFeel above 100).

But, this story has a happy ending! Repair man came, fixed it, and now it is wonderfully comfortable!

I've had three of their swimsuits (I like variety; I'm so stylish you know! :hilarious: ). They've all held up well. One of them I've had for about 6 years.

The cancun beaches are definitely gorgeous for my taste.
The pacific side not that much (too much sand based on stone).

But theres some beautiful risks with secluded beaches... they are really nice!

I love the Cancun and Riviera Maya beaches. The sand is so cool all the time and doesn't burn my feet, I think one of our guides down there said it was because of the limestone. The water is so pretty too. The Pacific side has a different sort of beauty. Thanks for sharing the beach pictures.

You're not stupid. You're a kind, decent, generous, pleasant person and we all welcome you on this thread.
Thank you so much. I admit I can be very backward to things today. I think everyone on here tells the truth, as that's what I learned in childhood. I do my best to make sure my posts are the truth (as I see them), am I perfect...no...but I try to do my best, because I truly consider you to be my posting friends, I don't want to do anything to tarnish, what I consider a special friendship. :inlove:

@ajrwdwgirl Did you have a taste of Bass? (beer not the fish) Wonderful. My favorite though is Guinness. Also, we are on page 1776, I think history is telling us we need more London pics :p

I did not have any Bass while I was over there. I can get Bass and Guinness at my local grocery store so I wanted to try beer that was local or unique to that pub. Honestly, last time I had a Guinness I didn't care for it but that was a long time ago and I have learned to like darker beers in the last couple years. I might have to give it another go.

@ajrwdwgirl , these pictures today are so amazing. That must have been a blast riding on Eurostar under the English Channel!! Not many people can say they've done that!

But my favorites today were the rooftops of London. Why? Because my mind immediately went to Mary Poppins and I could see the chimney sweeps working and dancing on the rooftops of London!

Meanwhile your food pictures had me drooling (again . . .). You two really know how to enjoy your vacation!!

I kept thinking about Mary Poppins too! Actually one day we were relaxing on a bench in Hyde Park and hubby started playing Mary Poppins songs on his phone (quietly, just enough for us to hear but not to disturb others). The Eurostar was really cool, I like riding in trains. I'll try to post some more food pictures!

If you like a dark drink, have you tried chocolate Ovaltine in milk? It's delicious. :hungry: :D :p

I saw the number two Minion movie, this afternoon with our DD and grandkids. I must say it was my favorite. I fell in love with Agnes, Gru, and Nancy. It was a quick paced and funny movie! I also liked 1 and 3, but 2 was the best. Just my opinion. Actually I liked them all, good music, and good humor.

No ovaltine for me. I never could stand chocolate milk. I was the only kid in my class in elementary that always got white milk everyday at snack time. I think my teachers eventually just asked if anyone besides Amy wanted white milk! It's strange though because I love all things chocolate except chocolate milk.
