Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Thank you! I cook everything from scratch as my youngest and I have a few allergies and it's healthier. I am taking some time off Monday for myself! If the weather is nice.
Your very welcome because I'm sure you do not hear that enough!! I don't have kids so I can only imagine how hard it can be but yet rewarding too. And yes you need to take time for yourself sometimes to keep your sanity!!! Haha

Sounds like my family! I was one of 4 kids and with one phone in the house for 6 people, my parents had RULES and enforced them!! Needless to say, we weren't too happy about that! :in pain:

One phone in our home of 6, too.
I still remember when my folks "upgraded" from our plain black, desk model, rotary to a Slim-line...that was still plain black, and a rotary...!!! :joyfull: :hilarious: :)

Mine too. I'm having a lot of "medical" testing done right now over what I hope to be a minor issue, but, I have already purchased my plane tickets for Paris in mid October. Paris, Rome, Venice, Barcelona and a trans Atlantic cruise back to Fort Lauderdale. I have been to some of the places on my itinerary, but, that was in 1967. I'm sure a few things have changed since then. For one thing, I won't be spending near as much time in foreign bars.:)
I hope your tests come out well. Stressful waiting for the results. When, you go to Europe take a few pictures for all of us. I may never get there, hubby isn't interested, but I would love to hide in your suitcase!;):D

@donaldtoo , I loved the pictures of the decorated airplanes!

Cool, me too! I know we both love us some planes! :)
Have never flown on any of those ;), but, we did once fly to MCO for a WDW trip on one of the Southwest Airlines Shamu planes.
All that paint weighs a lot, though. That's why American Airlines has flown so many planes with minimal paint over the years.
Another story I once heard from my former American Airlines flight attendant sis-in-law, was that they decided to put one less olive in their first class salads, and saved $39,000 that fiscal year..!!! :joyfull: :)
Could be an urban legend, though. ;)

I just wanted to let you all know that I won't be on the boards for a couple weeks, hubby and I are off on our Europe trip. When I come back and have readjusted to the time I will post pictures. We will be in Paris, a day trip to Normandy, Disneyland Paris, and London. Everyone behave on here! :)

Since you won't see this 'til y'all get back ;), hope y'all had an AWESOME trip...!!! :)

Well I really want to apply, I'm sick of being asked to get in the deep sensors.. these can fry my cochlear implant..
I have to tell them again and again to I have an implant (I never had these problems in Houston Airport)
And I'm never amused to have a 2 meter tall guy touching my privates.. (particularly annoying last February at MCO.. the guy touched me way too much, and its not like you can complain.. I've heard of detention and being placed in the no fly list for complaining. Also worsened by the fact that they could NOT find an officer trained for a patdown. I had to wait there shoeless and with my stuff moving in the conveyor belt for almost 20 minutes).
The officer in question was also ****ed because he was asking for an officer again and again via radio. And there were like 4 officers doing NOTHING at the end of the conveyor belt line (after the security point).

I just wish they had private areas for the patdowns, not infront of everyone.
That sounds awful and very inappropriate, some of our TSA screeners were fired in Denver for doing similar things. You should complain to the Homeland Security when you return home, they do take those things seriously. As least in Denver they did. I hope your travel troubles are lessoned, it takes a couple month's to do an extensive background check, then you are cleared. You have a couple flights, that you will have to explain pre check, clearance. It's for the airlines, you have to apply if you fly various airlines.....each time you change. We haven't had to do that yet. A booked flight for Oct. and one on points in March. Same airline. I don't know what happens when you change airlines, but I don't think it should be much hassle, as you have a security clearance.

Just a question, my Doctor wanted me to get a cochlear implant, but I'm allergic to metals, are you doing well with it? I especially hate being deaf in the left ear in Disney, people are saying excuse me....on that side and I feel as dumb as a sidewalk! ;):D:eek: And I hate that people think I'm being rude and not moving aside.
