Ate at Garden Grill today at Epcot. Turkey, beef tenderloin, sweet potato fries were great and restaurant was fun since it rotates over Living with the Land and all.

Yep, its been a while, Nixon reorganized the PO and in the early 80's they for the most part stopped receiving taxpayer funds. They still get funds for voting materials for overseas folk, military and people with disabilities.

For the most part the PO gets a bad rap considering they internally fully fund pension, retirement and health care into a fund. If the rest of government could do this we wouldn't be looking at pension reforms. But sadly those who wrote these guidelines required the PO to have so much money in those benefit funds that they were almost 50 years prepaid but running in the red financially because of it. If the benefits were only paid to meet the expenses the post office would have the funds to operate correctly vs trimming costs to way over fund benefits. Unfortunately the Commission and Congress are the ones that pull the puppet strings even though the post office for the most part operates as an independent agency until the others interfere and mess it up.

More protein. An egg or 4 ounces of chicken or pork should hold ya and still not many calories. Often less than various diet bars.

Husband went through the lottery, back in 67. He was lucky, I'm sorry that you had to experience that horror . Bets

My best friends brother was drafted via the lottery. He was in basics and got his orders to go to Vietnam. He sat down to type a letter to his sister and folks when the higher ups noticed how well he typed (very quick) he was reassigned and sent to Germany.

So sorry, my dad served between Korea and Vietnam, FIL Got lucky and never shipped over there mostly Europe, dh Gulf War 1.

I swear I relate so much to songs. Golf War my mind immediately goes to the song The Wind Beneath my Wings.
Oddly enough that was the song my sons class sang at their preschool graduation. Me a very stoic person, I cried like a baby.

My Dad was fortunate and sent to occupied Japan. Released and immediately recalled to go to the start of Korea'cause he was already trained.

This is going to be a very long time... At least six months! The longest my cat and I have been separated was a week! She's going to be heart broken!

If she falls asleep in another room and wakes up and sees that I'm not there, she cries. Now, imagine if I'm not there, period.

They adjust. Leave her a blanket or sheet of yours to sleep with. It will help.

Our brand new $3,500 Miele coffee maker for the office was installed this afternoon.
Yes, $3,500. But, it didn't cost the company a thing, 'cause it was given to us by a distributor...!!!

The kids can bring their phones to school. It is up to the teacher on if the kids can use them in class. My rule is that they can't use them unless they ask. They mostly use it as a calculator, or timer. They know to not use it without permission or I will take it away for the whole day, if I have to take it away a second time they have to serve as detention time to get it back, a third time the parent has to come in and pick it up for them. The kids can use their phones for whatever during lunch and the free time during homeroom if they are passing their classes.

Our teachers can't take phones from students. Liability of personal property of value. They must send them and the phone to the office if need be.

2 more pages and I am fading fast. Planted, went clothing shopping for the 3rd time this week. I love to shop but not so much when I have to buy clothes, I love to just trip on cute clothes. 2 dresses, some cute cammies and finally a cute bathing suit while still being age appropriate. Nice pair of sandals, pair of flats for one of the dresses. Still not done.

My DD and I rode Liberty for the first time in years. We actually bought lunch and ate it on the ride. A nice little lunch on the upper deck as we took in the views.

Then we got off and went and played on the Island for an hour. Good times.
