On TOT you can go all the way to the ride elevator then they'll direct you to the "chicken exit".

If others in your group are getting on, you are always welcome to go through the stand-by line with them (or FP+ if you also have a FP). I've seen people do it all the time, especially parents who don't want their kids waiting in line without them.

I'm going bonkers! Yesterday I bumped my head, my ds pulled out a drawer out while I was getting something from the lower cabinet. Doc said I'm fine just a mild concussion, but no weights or driving until Friday! So if it seems I have more typos than usual......... I hate being told to take it easy!

Can you do a walk through without riding? I've always wanted to see it inside, but I never want to ride.

Same, It was always packed and I had fantasmic. so I never tried to get to TOT.
I hope my next trip I will rectify that.
I still have Splash Mountain to visit too.

We try to not leave our seats either but we prefer to sit in the top section.

Seconding on the top part. It lets you have a better view of the fireworks effects.
Also you do not get wet when the wind blows.
I've seen the front guys completely soaked. Pretty bad if it was at 5C or less... like it was on february D:

The pre show seems kinda cheezy and not many people follow it. Probably because not everyone speaks or understands english fluid or are interested in the "cheerleader" type preshow.
