This is what we had last time. I couldn't decide between the Meatloaf and Pot Roast, enjoyed all three choices over the years, so the trio was perfect.

A Sampling of Mom's Favorite Recipes - Crispy-fried Chicken, Fork Tender Pot Roast, and Traditional Meatloaf with all the fixings.

I make the meatloaf at home (still always better when someone else prepares it for ya though), the Chicken is excellent but we have a few places around home that do it as well so I lean towards the Pot Roast when we dine there. But now the lunch and dinner menu at BOG has Braised Pork on their menu and that is my go to for Lunch and it is very similar to the Pot Roast. So the Trio Combo was perfect.

And no, we did not come close to cleaning our plates. I did however finish my Dad's Electric Lemonade. :p
I love their fried chicken it tastes just like my Mom's. Brings me home again.

My baby is getting his own phone for his birthday in July (13 years old). I'm thinking about getting him one of those pre-paid phones and when he runs out of time he has to pay for a new card. (pro-rated ) I'll be paying to keep the basic service every month. I think he should pay if he goes over his time. Am I being cheap?

I have two opinions that sit me on the fence, I've been here with my kids but you have to remember phones with plans were very very different back then. My DS was the first of his friends to get his own cell when he was going into HS. He kept that until he graduated HS and went away to school. It was a Motorola Razor.

DD got her first Cell in 4th grade. She was on a disability bus because she was in a wheelchair with a full cast. Bus broke down, bus staff didn't notify school or me. A friend saw he looking out bus window an hour after school should have started 2 blocks from school and called me. I called school got in my car and pulled her off the bus
in the snow. :cautious: So ticked. I bought her a pay as you go that night. It was against school policy and I didn't care. She kept it in her backpack that stayed in her locker.

Data didn't play into phone plans back then and data eats up pay as you go too quickly, a great money maker for phone plans. If I would pick for you I'd get a family plan. The data is really getting cheaper and more data. Adding a phone line to a plan is generally about $10. You can manage online how much data he gets and phone and texting is on most plans unlimited. If he annoys you or you find out he is spending too much time on the phone you just click turn off data and he will only be able to text or place phone calls. You can turn data off on his phone or turn it back on in a matter of moments and it is a great teaching tool for parents or discipline leverage.

Like I said we had pay as you go back in the day but it became more expensive as the type of pay as you go offerings were no longer offered as time went on.

Still sitting in bed with my coffee waiting for my DD alarm to go off in a few minutes. She worked 12.5 hours again yesterday. Today between the two she will work likely 14 or 15.

Launching the waterpark and training all these new lifeguards is taking its toll on her. But the next couple of paychecks should make her feel better next month. :D

Did you order it using your phone like they are testing? Also, I never knew they had stores at Fantasmic. Is this new?

I was wondering that too? When we get into Fantasmic we tend to bring in with us what we want and don't leave our seats. The benches are a free for all as it starts to get crowded and ushers squishing guests in, we generally guard our spots though it would be nice to not to have to watch the preshow again.

Yum. Wonder if @Andrew C and his wife got the Smores at PrimeTime. Dang they are good. We've made those at home too. Work great under the broiler.

I hope she treats herself. That is really long hours, and lifeguard training can't be easy.

My dh and I both have pay as you go. Phone, data and text cost us $7 each per month and we always both roll over a bit of everything. Data doesn't get used much as the with the house wi-fi it's free. Not sure if it's worth much more than that for a kid.

We had a really nice time. The kids in elementary school are so funny and engaging. They sang and danced. Fun to see how kids change from 1st grade until 6th. Thank you for asking.
Sounds like lots of fun was had by all! YEA! Next week is my ds's 6th grade concert. I don't think it will be as good as the winter one as they did the music from Frozen in December!

All I can think of when I see that door, is a hot dog with lot's of yellow mustard.;)

His house is brick, light yellowish-beige. It would have looked pretty if he painted the garage door white with a light pastel yellow. Wonder what his girlfriend thought when she pulled up in the driveway. Likely wouldn't have phased his ex as when they were towards the end of their marriage she painted the living room bubble gum pink.
