Oh my! MORE stealing...!!! :jawdrop:

:D ;) :)

Well, it all depends upon the breakdown of charges. This was a far lesser crime, just 1/6th of a crime, because it was shared across 6 teenagers in all, versus the blue doll's dress (at age 5) which was a solo heist. As you can see, my road to reform was gathering speed, and my reformation to a law-abiding citizen was well underway! :D

Too FUNNY!! :p OMG--I can't believe they used that cheezy commercial all over the country at the drive-in's!!! I miss drive-in's -- there's hardly any left anywhere. I think it was about maybe 12 years ago that we did find one somewhere, but it wasn't really the same. The reason was that instead of those big, glompy speakers that used to hook on to the driver's side door, they now had you turn on your own car radio to hear the audio. If I go to a drive-in, I want the entire retro experience!

I miss drive-ins too. So much fun! :)

O.......K...........
I was simply sharing with her how the green tab works, from my experience.
I have never disabled mine. When I'm logged in it's on, when I'm not it's off. :cyclops:
Yes sir I know. I am apparently having a problem with some posts lately. I do quote people a lot mostly because I am extending a thought and perhaps putting in my own at the same time. If you follow the N&R board at all, I think it would be pretty easy to know that when I am disagreeing, I make it known. I am in complete agreement with what you said, but, like most discussions I do tend to tell people what I do and why. That may be why we are coming out a little out of sync with what I'm attempting to do.

But actually, I was going to ask that question. Everyone has put a small amount of doubt in my mind. Since I don't "Log Out" I'm not sure if it is off when I leave the site. Perhaps someone can tell me. I am leaving the site for a short while in two minutes at 9:45 EST. If someone could let me know if the little green thing actually goes off, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

It's cool! I was just a little confused by your post. Thanks for your reply! It's all good! :)

About your green tab: Just log out and refresh the page, and then you'll see whether or not yours is off or on. If you don't log out, it will be on for another 20 min. or so after your last activity. ;)

There's a drive-in up in Fairlee, Vermont, that is owned by the same people who own the motel in front of it. I've never been to it, but a perk of this motel is that the picture windows in the room face the outdoor movie theater, so that if people want, they can watch the movie from their king-sized bed in the motel!! No, I'm not making this up! :hilarious: It's true! (Note: the concession stand does not deliver to the motel rooms.)

Here's a story about it from an NBC news clip:

Now that's interesting. I've only fried bacon, but I really like how yours looked in the picture, because I like crispy bacon, too! So, you use a broiler pan, but you bake it and not broil it?

Yes I use a broiler pan so the fat drips into the pan under it. I have read that a baking sheet with sides, like a jelly roll pan will work but then the bacon is just sitting in the grease still.

I bake it at 425 it usually takes about 15-20 minutes. It depends on the thickness of the bacon. If it is thin it is usually takes 15 minutes. But no matter what I usually start keeping an eye on it around 15 minutes for thick cut and 10 min for thin because I don't want it to burn. It is so nice and crispy in the oven and the fat is rendered so nicely too. And if I want the bacon grease for other cooking it is all in the bottom of my broiler pan.

It's 9:54 p.m. on my computer, and I still see the green box in the corner of your avatar.:)

No, I'm hoping for Charlotte. I like Alice, too. (I understand the nostalgia of Diana, but I'd kind of like seeing this girl have her own identity. I think that if they named her Diana, people might always be trying to compare her to the late Princess Diana.)

Those are the two names that I really like too! I don't think they should name her Diana either, but they could use it as a middle name.

The ice cream was peanut butter, so I did scoop out a little and shared that with her. She liked it. I used to buy my old dog Frosty Paws, it is ice cream for dogs. He seemed to like it, so maybe I will have to buy this sweetie a some next time I go shopping.

Yes, I think your doggie would like some Frosty Paws. I've seen that at the pet store, but never bought it. That may be because my dog manages to finagle a bite of everything we have!! (Oh, that's in addition to his own dog food, of course!) ;)

I rarely turn on the A/C in the summer, I love the heat. I will turn on fan for sleeping at night though. Hubby wants the A/C on though. When it gets super hot here in Wisconsin I just think briefly of winter and those sub zero days and just try to soak up the heat.

We kinda' hafta' turn the A/C on here in the summer, 'cause of day after day of 100+ degree heat. :)

Ok since I have shared what I had for breakfast and lunch today I might as well share dinner.... I don't have a picture of the full burger but since May is burger month hubby and I started celebrating today. I made the burger of the month recipe from the current Rachel Ray magazine, it is Spicy Beef and Pork burgers with Bacon-Barbecue Onions. It was really good and easy to make. The burgers I think were a little miss named because they weren't spicy, the main spices were cumin and coriander. The onions were caramelized in a homemade BBQ sauce. The whole thing is a definite make again. Is any one else celebrating Burger Month?

Here are the burgers on the grill:
