With a cruise ship out on the open sea, not tied to any country out there, they can probably do whatever they want! ;)

Ships are tied to the country flag they fly, it is often referred to as a Flag of Convenience as most ship owners/corporations are in a different country than the flag they fly. They pick a country with the least operating expenses and the least laws for labor. Disney though the Ships belong to the American Corporation fly a Bermuda Flag.

So is this your local watering hole?

Yep. That's where we hang out...

I think you missed my point. DVC are built for a different purpose, they are time shares not hotel resort rooms. So to compare them on an equal field IMO is not a fair comparison. Now compare a Studio at AK DVC to Old Key West that would be a like comparison. The standard guest room at AKL Resort is only a hair larger than POR rooms.
I rented to use them as Hotel rooms, stayed at a deluxe and saved a chunk of money.
I do not see the drawback.

Isnt the dream the only one of the disney fleet to have an American flag and the rest fly Nassau ones?

Yep. That's where we hang out...

For us it is family thing. My husbands sister company has many Mexican Immigrants that speak little to no English. His Spanish has become stronger over time. The monorail spiel was the first Spanish phrase my kids learned. It was funny to hear the kids try and spit it out like Dad and fail. Very little was in Spanish when they were small in Disney but the Monorail spiel was endearing in Spanish, the voice used at that time was very talented.

As silly as this sounds, the first time I ride the monorail during each vacation, and hear the spiel (in English and Spanish), I always think, "I'm really here at Disney World!!!"   And, if I'm not mistaken, isn't it the same voice they've used for years? There's something comforting and uplifting about that man's voice!

True. I tend to like the true women's shirts that have some shape to them vs the uni-s*x shirts. I am a small women and in many cases I was buying large. So what does a large women wear? My DD who is only a 100# and 5'4" wears a medium. Glad to hear they are fixing it.

Note: JCP has some real cute summer classic Disney character shirts in some great young women styles in the Junior Department. Just saw them. They also had some real nasty Princess yoga type pants.

I'm average height, so taller than you. I really like the unisex sizes for the t-shirts, because for some reason, I just like big t-shirts. They just seem more comfortable to me, especially in hot weather. (For my work outfits, my clothes are more tailored; but for play, I like looser clothing.) :)

So, it's Monday ... which means it's Zander's night!
Our waitress, Erica, is in the D.R., so we were going to skip it this week.
Alas, Hubby had a hankering for nachos, so off we went.

1/2 price apps after 9:00, plus I brought home an order of beer can chicken for me and Adopted Son to split for dinner tomorrow.

I'm probably the only person who noticed this, but I burst out laughing when I saw that your hubby (in 2 of the pictures) was leaning close to the table, and had his hands planted on the table (sort of in a fist). I see a man very territorial of his feast (and he should be! :p) and would pounce on anyone who tried to sneak a bite off the platter! :D :hilarious:

(This also reminds me a little of my dog guarding his food bowl. He hovers over it, while looking around to make sure no other person or animal will swipe any of his food! Maybe it's a "guy" thing? ;) )

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

He's like - Hurry up and take the picture already! We were seated in a booth, he's a pretty big guy, the table is always pretty close. ;)

As for sharing, no problem. If it had been delivered and I'd decided that I wanted it, he would have given it to me! Nachos are an ordeal for me though. Soooooo many things to pick around: tomatoes, olives, hot peppers, jalapenos ....
