Then maybe you should have showered alone.Depends on the ship. I found the Disney Wonder's spacious enough, but then, I'm not that tall.
I think the shower was the most cramped part (on the Wonder).

It's actually a newer ship, 2012.Just shows that ship needs to be updated so our friends don't fall.
The bathroom we had wasn't too small and unless you are having an all out water fight, nothing's getting wet in there.I've only been on one cruise, so correct me if I'm wrong, but, aren't the bathrooms very small and cramped and the actual possibility of water accidentally sprayed about is quite high. You really don't want those switches in there with you.
Thank you for presenting a different side of tenure; that was interesting. Apparently, there's both good and bad points, no matter how you slice it.

I can't remember where I read it, but at some point over the past year, one of the forum members said that they were actually cutting the shirts a little larger. This goes against everything that you and @ajrwdwgirl have experienced in terms of shrinkage. Apparently, people were returning the shirts because, for example, a Large didn't seem to fit like a full Large, so they started cutting the Larges a bit more toward the XL size, to cut back on the returns. But, in theory, they did this with all the sizes--cut them more generously. All I know is that for what they charge for shirts in WDW, they should be making them a higher quality, so that all these shrinkage issues would not happen.![]()
I had this happen. I was used to buying a certain size for Disney t-shirts so that they had enough room in, ahem, certain placesI can't remember where I read it, but at some point over the past year, one of the forum members said that they were actually cutting the shirts a little larger. Mine is earlier in August. You should have pretty low weekday crowds, though. Most schools will be back in session (hence why my trip is earlier in August).Aaaaaaaand ... we're booked!
2 rooms - Coronado Springs. 10 day Park Hopper + Waterpark passes.
3 Guests w/Standard Dining. 2 Guests w/no DDP.
August 22 - September 1.
Anybody's trip overlapping?

There was a time when they were designed that way for safety reasons. The electrical switches were outside because the theory that water and electricity do not mix, really has a basis of reality. They felt that the further they put them from the water the better. Not necessary any more with all the new switches that will shut down the current if water is exposed, (ground fault interrupters) but, it does have a historical design background.
