I hope the babies are witouth issues.

I read that The older you get, the higher the probability of autism or severe dysfunctions like Down's.

Can you imagine being 65 and having more than one kid with disability?

She is the equivalent of a surrogate. All the 'fixings' were donated and implanted so it does lessen the odds of problems.

I highly question the doctors that agreed to participate though.

It's a nice resort definitely. Just not terribly wild about Waikiki. We're planning on doing more sightseeing and some beach while we're at the Hilton and more pool time at Aulani, though the first day at the Hilton will probably be a beach/pool day since we will have traveled the day before. The pools at the Hilton are fine, but nothing compared to Aulani. Heck, Aulani makes Stormalong Bay look like a little dinky pool.

Two waterslides, one body slide and one inner tube slide, inner tube slide dumps into a lazy river, and then the body slide dumps into the main pool, and then there's an adult-only pool (which I'm old enough for ) and an infinity hot tub overlooking the ocean. Blows the Hilton's pools out of the water.

But the Hilton has a good view and great shopping, and the beach is really nice.

I do agree that Aulani does look a lot better than the Hilton. Whenever we go again we will spend our time between the two hotels. The Aulani wasn't open last time we went. We did fly over it though. I thought I had taken a picture of it but I just looked and I must have just ogled at it at the time.

I couldn't imagine having a baby at 65. No way Jose.

To me, as misguided at the Duggard's continuing to want to have additional children. I can't wrap my brain around having children to have your children raise your children. My Mom came from a family of 12, the baby two brothers were charged to my Mom who was just a kid herself.

Unfortunately, not all.
The older and larger "pink and green" Store that I was a CM at never had them and was never retrofitted with them. It was built before Disney Princess dresses took over a large portion of the Stores.
Used to frustrate the heck out of me. Many returns/exchanges could have been avoided.
The outlet mall location up the road managed to turn a storage room into one.

Definitely do it. Aulani is amazing. Even if you're only there for a few days and then have to do the rest of your stay elsewhere, do it. You can easily stay there the entire time and never leave.

When we were there 8 days in 2013 (we had done a duel DL/Aulani trip) I got sick when I got to Hawaii. I had an ear infection, and my allergies were absolutely horrible (my advice to everyone who goes: Don't expect that just because it's Hawaii that you won't have allergies; bring your meds), so I was on nebulizer treatments every four hours and only left one day. Couldn't do any hiking, and the one day that we drove around, I felt really bad and didn't enjoy it at all. I was just as happy to be at Aulani and read my books the entire time. It was not a bad place to be stuck.

I know. We had a shooting scare about a year ago at my school. Every time I think about it, it makes me feel sick to my stomach even though it was just some dumb students who decided to go shoot some BB rifles. Literally, nothing happened, but it still scares me to think about what could have happened. Ugh.

Did they live on a farm? I ask that because wasn't it common to have a lot of kids on farms or ranches to help out?

Yep, we've had problems with some of the shirts too. The one I am most disappointed with is my zipper hoodie that was from the first 24 hour Leap Year event. The quality of the material is alright-ish, not what they once were, the zipper on the other hand is about the lowest quality it could be and that sweatshirt was expensive.

Yep, I could write a whole chapter alone (a big one) in a book about my time as a Disney Store CM regarding inferior/defective product quality. We had to pull things off the onstage fixtures and quarantine them on the backstage shelves way more often than you'd think. They'd sit back there takin' up shelf space until we were given instructions from Home Office what to do with them. I can't remember a time when the final instructions weren't to destroy the product in the mall crusher out back. A manager, and it least one other CM, had to be present for the destruction.

Alas, Hubby had a hankering for nachos, so off we went.





1/2 price apps after 9:00, plus I brought home an order of beer can chicken for me and Adopted Son to split for dinner tomorrow.

I had this happen. I was used to buying a certain size for Disney t-shirts so that they had enough room in, ahem, certain places. Then, last trip, I bought a shirt in Epcot. I thought it looked too big, but Mom said she thought it was the right size. I went back to the room and tried it on. WAY too big. I ended up going back to exchange it...for two sizes down. Now it fits perfectly.

I'm glad that they're starting to cut t-shirts more generously, though, because I've had trouble finding t-shirts in the past because I need them to be more generous up top, so now that they're cutting them with more room, I can find ones that work for me. Meanwhile, there are women who are much bigger than me, and who I know probably could find nothing since I was wearing the largest sizes in many cases.

True. I tend to like the true women's shirts that have some shape to them vs the uni-s*x shirts. I am a small women and in many cases I was buying large. So what does a large women wear? My DD who is only a 100# and 5'4" wears a medium. Glad to hear they are fixing it.

Note: JCP has some real cute summer classic Disney character shirts in some great young women styles in the Junior Department. Just saw them. They also had some real nasty Princess yoga type pants.

Why not buy the shirt and then go try it on in the bathroom, and if it doesn't work, go back and exchange it?

In fact, I used to suggest to Guests already wearin' t-shirts to just try 'em over 'em. If it felt tight, even then, go a size bigger,' cause it's gonna' shrink...a lot. Then I didn't have to worry about potentially cloggin' up my Box Office queue with an unnecessary exchange later.

Will have to look there. Need to go look for some nice sundresses. I found an Elsa shirt at the Disney store. Their shirts are definitely more generously cut. Could almost purposely shrink the Elsa shirt.

I too prefer the shirts that are cut for women. I'm really busty (like, cannot shop at Victoria's Secret because they don't carry my size.) so I have to wear shirts that are generous enough through that particular area. Sometimes I've had to go up to XX or XXX in women's sizes because they were cut so small. In a traditional t-shirt, I'm a medium. The shirt I got last trip, a shirt with Marie on it that said "From Paris with love" on it I bought in an XL at first, since normally that is what I buy. I ended up going to a medium. They carried XXS up to XXL and cut them generously enough so that basically the only way you couldn't find your size was if you were super tiny or super heavy. But most could probably find their size. Which was nice to see. From a marketing standpoint, it makes more sense to carry a bunch of sizes for all kinds of women IMO.
