Never ate ketchup until I was about 20...still don't use it much. As for fried egg sammiches....mayonnaise, or as we say in the south "may-naze".

Yep, mine gots ta have the maynaze, too. Although, I usually turn 'em into a BELTM - bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato, maynaze...!!!

Ketchup is acceptable to have on a plate of breakfast food if that plate includes sausage.

Since there is no sausage, I fail to see the purpose of the ketchup.

For sausage, you need maple syrup. For bacon too.

Syrup is acceptable. But ketchup is best. Bacon is so fabulous on its own that you don't need to add anything with bacon.

Wrap your head around my dad's habit: sausage with a pancake wrapped around it and ketchup inside the pancake/sausage roll.

With everyone still so sick in this house, I've come to learn that toot-toot can lead to much more dangerous territory.

Son #1 & #2 both on round three of this virus.
Adopted son has still managed to dodge that bullet. He did, however, go to bed at 7:30, so we'll see what tomorrow morning brings.

Substitute syrup and that's a very common thing up here. Bonus - no cutlery required.
