Was on the ride when the fire started. They got us off as they were "emergency evacuating the ride. Watched for fifteen min and still no fire trucks. It spread significant ly in those fifteen min

Ever drive behind MK during Wishes when the wind is blowing East? A hellfire of smoking fireworks shells pelt your vehicle and cover the road. And some of those only break in half so they are very large pieces!

Isn't that why they block the road off directly in front of the firework fallout zone?

I was at MK tonight but left before Wishes though. So crazy to see this. I hope everyone is okay and there's no significant damage to the attraction.

Like others, I'm not believing the structural damage nonsense until the ride is down for an extended period of time.

Dave, serious question here....how much work does RCFD actually get. I don't hear of too many fires at WDW, but I'm sure a lot of their daily work would involve more EMT type calls...am I correct in that assumption?

If that is the answer, it's not being thought through. Mine Train is COMPLETELY surrounded by guest walkways. If a burning shell can land on Mine Train, it can land on a guest. The real issue needs to be the wind limitations, not just a few more sprinklers.
