A Bojangles is a few miles north of WDW in Winter Garden. Can't recommend it as I have not partaken.

The problem with that is... The DA package never promised anything but a meal at the Leaky Cauldron, three broomsticks, and early entry into Hogsmeade. So if anyone was expecting otherwise... They didn't even bother to read what was included.

@WDW1974 and others what do you think the state of Gringotts will be by labour day weekend?

Also, regarding the early entry for hotel guests, I still haven't heard a concrete answer: will it include DA? We can't stay for the 4 night vacation package but the website makes it clear that for a two-nighter, the early entry perk is offered, but the park is "of Universal Orlando's choosing" or something like that. Not sure what they're getting at exactly.

Also, I only like raisins in cereal.

Who knows... I mean isn't 7dmt still having issues? And its a less complex ride than Gringotts.
For all we know Gringotts could have these issues til next year.

Where is this specified? The restrictions tab says the following...

"Requires theme park admission. Early Park Admission begins one (1) hour prior to regular scheduled park opening to one (1) Universal Orlando theme park as determined by Universal Orlando. Valid at select attractions at each park. Universal Orlando Resort reserves the right to open alternative attractions in the event that a technical problem arises or an attraction opening is delayed."

It does. We stayed there for 3 nights on our way down to Florida. We got the standard key to the world cards with our names and dates printed on them. They worked the doors just like at WDW with just a touch. There were no Mickey head scanners at the registers. If you charged to your room they still ran the card through like a credit card. They also have the RFID chips in the drink mugs and paper cups for drink refills.

Correct it never stated which WWoHP.
Also, I'm assuming by park of their choice refers to their current early entry schedule that all their resorts get to partake in.
But either way, they never promised that people would get anything but a meal at the Leaky Cauldron as far as DA. So people shouldn't be upset.
I believe they did the same thing when Hogsmeade opened. They had their meal at the Three Broomsticks and that was it.

They'll announce their new Marketing Theme for FY2015, unless they decide that the current Marketing Theme is sooo popular & effective that they'll use it for another year.

They'll have to have the grand reopening spectacular for the newly reimangined Hub to end all Hubs, now with more than twice the sightlines.

Don't get me wrong, I (like most of us nutjobs here) love the parks and have been going for 43 years...yeah, I'm that old. But like you, I can only take it in small doses because I've been there so many times over the years (and the crowds and the prices). For some, it really has become their social life. Their friendships/relationships, their very existence and a wedding for one case I know of, completely revolve around the parks. I can see spending multiple days at a resort (we did 9 days in WDW back in 2010) as part of a vacation but not 5+ days a week, every week, like some. I mean, over 1000 visits to Disneyland? Really? How does anyone enjoy it at that point?

People need a familiar place to congregate. Disneyland is a perfect place for that. An upbeat atmosphere, plenty to do and they know it like the back of their hands. Sort of like a Starbucks on caffeine!

What's keeping Gringott's from behaving properly?

I've heard mostly computer issues. Not unheard of for any new-type of system, really.

But Disney's problems with the MM start up is due to incompetency we've been told.
Has anyone besides me noticed how forgiving everyone is about Uni having serious start up problems and then just casually blaming it on "computer issues". Just think about the crap that was spit out when the Mine Train was delayed too. "Problems with cutting budgets, poor management, shoddy work, shouldn't they have been able to figure that out during engineering? What a double standard that exists around here.

Yes the EPA includes DA per Guest services this morning, that does not mean it will be the same policy two months from now so check with them so you will not be surprised/disappointed.
