I know!
then YUM! (the corporation tied to the franchise) complained about Mexico, which is dumb as KFC and Pizza hut thrives and sell a lot.
Eeeeeeh, definitively not a thing you would see here..
We take our tacos very seriously![]()
Meh, I'm a bigger fan of a good guacamole.. not "taco meat".For evening swim meets we'd open up a single serving bag of Frito's and drop a scoop of taco meat into the bag, sprinkle with cheese, hand the swimmers a fork voila dinner.![]()
unless it was a black avocado I hope? (aka avocado past its time)Much like potatoes, I've never met an avocado I didn't like, either.![]()
Ugh. My wife ate my left over pizza and I have no groceries in the house. Thinking of eating my daughter's gerber graduates meals...![]()

Btw, when you mention "taco meat".. you guys are talking about ground meat?
that is another thing that is different between Mex and the US.. the meat is never grounded like hamburger for our tacos.
We ate them after track meets when I was in high school. And I stress the word AFTER. You don't want to mess with them before.
yeah, shreded or diced meat is the usual version :>Oh you are not following the type of food that is served at a swim meet, trust me, good guacamole isn't an option at a high school meet.
As for meet in anything taco that really depends on where you are dining, cheap eats or better dining. Where I tend to get taco salad bowls the meat is either diced chicken or beef that has been seasoned while cooking. Some places do offer ground meat and then places like Taco Bell serve something, not sure what that is considered but I don't eat there.
There are the kind of tacos I eat now. Not Mexican food but they are damn good.

green chile pork taco is my fav

ground is usually in taco bell like places (urgh..)
and I never imagined the guacamole is too "high end" for a high school met
or are we talking due of the mess it can make?
That is called a Frito Pie. I know. I was raised in San Antonio, the home of Tex-Mex.![]()
I have to use the "itchy eye" Visine pollen is he77 around here.
I remember my marketing professor in college going through the poor decisions American companies have made when naming their products for sale in other countries. My favorite was Chevrolet deciding to market the highly successful (in America) Nova to Mexico. Unfortunately, in Spanish, no va means something along the lines of "does not go". It did not sell well.
It better be, otherwise my birthday has passed and I haven't gotten a single present!wife just got home...with a Halloween costume for our daughter...isn't it still June?![]()
