Speaking of turkey before tree, we put our tree up today... kinda. We got the lights on and then the base broke. So we found an old tree base in our basement, and we had to do a lot of lifting the tree, and a lot of annoying problem-solving. We didn't put ornaments on yet, because we want to make sure it won't fall down (just precautionary). In the meantime, my arms managed to get some nice scratches on them, including one big one on the inside of my arm. I managed to trip over a bin, and my toe kind of hurts now. This was by far the most dangerous decorating day I've ever experienced.
