No, I was actually thinking that their cooler contains insulin. Not a joke. If someone made guess what was in that cooler I would have said insulin.

I would be absolutely stunned if neither of them were diabetic.

Yeah but there's one thing to criticize what people eat/drink.... Its another to comment/question/openly mock someone bringing supplies for an army platoon or more inside a stroller/lorrey/small truck into a theme park.

Its a damn theme park. You dont need to nest while youre there and you certainly dont need that much food....

Yep, we carry a waterproof backpack to hold medications, camera gear (DSLR, lenses and flash unit), ponchos, and battery pack to recharge mobile phones.

I agree, but the problem isn't just the endless strollers and (often rather judgmental) talk about obesity. There are actually important Disney-related (imagine that!) topics buried in this thread that we're ignoring and actually helping to bury by all this pointless debate on how some people conduct themselves in the parks.

It's all pointless discussion, and I'm as bad (or worse, if I'm honest) as anyone to go off on a tangent, but there are just so many more interesting, important things to discuss - and maybe even a few issues that need to see the light of day and not be buried in the thread.

It's been days or maybe weeks without much of interest coming out. We're about 6 weeks out from the earnings release which isn't likely to be terribly exciting for WDW but who knows. I'm open for a new topic. What interesting or important things are getting buried? What should we be talking about?

OK, I hate to be a broken record about this but, geez, here are two people sitting quietly out of the way, minding their own business for some reason you found it novel enough to take a picture of. Why? What harm were they doing to you. What terrible thing that is happening to you are they responsible for. I'm amazed that you didn't mention the cooler back there. At least for an obvious lack of anything worthwhile to mention about them...they did provide you with a laugh or two.

They werent doing any harm to me, its just very sad and disturbing to see people slowly killing themselves.

At least there is discussion on this thread and the "important" stuff (you'll have to point it out, because I haven't seen any of it yet) has been talked about to death as well. I haven't joined the "chew the Fat" discussion because I think it was worthy, I joined it for the exact opposite of that. It had reached that point of foolishness that I thought couldn't be topped and then to my surprise somebody posted stuff that was so offensive, insensitive and unfunny that it, I hope ended it. So...come up with something else to talk about and maybe we can move on.

FWIW, Bob Iger is scheduled to speak tomorrow at a Q&A Goldman Sachs conference (8:50 am et) and on the Fox Business network (12pm et) later on. When he appears on the FBN, topics of discussion will consist of the corporation's future, the petition to save DLP, in addition to endorsing the new ABC fall season primetime tv shows (like Marvel Agents of SHEILD, The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, and Lucky 7). Congrats to ABC on their 3 emmy wins last night.

The lockers might help some.

If you set an age limit on strollers rented out (lets say under 5 years old - not my suggestion, just for arguments sake) then anyone who wants to use a stroller and has a child 5 or over will just rent them from one of the companies that rents strollers outside of WDW or they will bring their own. You also have the issue of enforcement. Do I need to bring my kid's birth certificate as proof he is under 5? What if I have 2 kids 3 and 6 and I rent a stroller for the 3 year old. Should a CM stop and question me if my 6 year old takes a turn riding in the stroller?

Isn't it easier to just have some stroller parking areas set aside that are maintained by CMs to ensure that strollers are not blocking walkways or create crowd flow issues?

They are moving the needle on what age child comes to WDW, but not in the direction you want.

Well if they put an age of 5 on - Disney can stop companies who have stroller rental businesses coming on property to drop/pick up strollers. Then the family with a 7 year old that comes in with Magical Express will reconsider their use of a stroller.

Nope they will not need to ask, if your kid is over 10+ they would be carrying an adult ticket so rules that group out, Disney could require you have photo I.D. for each child that could have their age printed on. Yes if Disney is renting out strollers to children up to age of 5 - if your 6 year old is in the stroller your breaking your agreement with Disney on the rental.

Its easier if there are less than 100 strollers to none in the parks.

I foresee in the next 7 years that it will swing back in the other direction for Disney by crook or by hook.
