Weekly meetup forum

Hello all! A few of us have been discussing possibly setting up weekly WDW Magic meetups at WDW and I am wondering where to take this next. The idea is that we would basically just have a weekly meetup in one of the parks planned so that whoever happens to be there that week can get together with other WDW Magic users. It's cool to plan big meetups (such as the women's cruise in September), but not everyone can plan around these things. That's why I think it would be more fun to have a weekly meetup so that anyone could go! Kind of like the weekly DVC welcome home Wednesdays. Please let me know what you think!

How about Saturdays at DTD The qs places are never over crowded no matter what time of year and the locals avoid the parks on weekends!

I would think that would be fine (I like DTD), but it looks like the general consensus has been to keep it within a park.

Tom Sawyer Island could be kinda fun...on Aunt Polly's porch.

It's just ...such a mall...Sorry I live in mall land, and I try to avoid DTD, except for the boat ride. We literally get off the boat, hook around, and go right back to PO.

Why does that bring us back to weekdays? We could still meet in the parks on weekends during the summer.

I agree with Epcot, but I think a lot of people want to alternate parks. How did we get back to Mondays? What happened to Saturdays? I know I won't be able to make Monday meet ups since we do weekend trips because of school and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I would think weekends would be better for locals as well. Thoughts? Perhaps we should have a poll.

Yes I think 2 polls are in order 1 for day and 1 for where!!!!!!!!!! Let it go for a week and winner of each should be it!

Awesome! Which days should be choices? Every day of the week or just select days?

So what exactly what I be asking in the poll location? Whether we're meeting in the same park every week or a different park each week along with DTD?

Also, should all of this go in trip planning? Or maybe a subform within trip planning?

It should be the same place each week or it will be too confusing IMO just start a new thread in trip planning. For location just list each park and DTD
