I honestly don't get the whole point of this, you were able to get the photo added to your PP+ correct? Accidents happen.

The point of this is that they made a little girl upset over something so pointless and stupid. I simple wanted to know if anyone else had this happen. There are certain things you dont say infront of kids and that is one of them.

I understand that, but also understand that there is more than likely CM protocol on how to handle situations of blocked photos.

I'm sure their protocall isnt to make a little girl feel she had done something wrong in front of other guest. She thought Disney workers were going to come find us and kick us out cause thats what they do for inappropriate behavior. The CM could have handled it better

I was able to enjoy the Haunted Mansion but that doesn't mean I didn't have a problem with the 2 CM's 5 buggies behind me taking flash pictures of themselves with their phone.

Just ignore him/her. They are obviously here to start controversy. Most of the poster's comments are intended to get a reaction from people. Took me a few posts before I figured out what they were doing. ;)

Lol you are incorrect. I'm not here to get a reaction from anyone. Just posting my opinions like everyone else. Out of all the lovely people I have encountered here, you seem to be the only person I don't seem to be getting along with. Perhaps it is you with the problem.

........then this thread is the biggest circle ever known to man. if the photo was never blocked then i am so lost and confused that i give up. have a magical night.

THANK YOU! I'm pretty sure she has edited her posts to change the story as I am pretty certain she said the whole situation arose because of a blocked photo and being told she could not see it because it was inappropriate so instead of showing it, the cm did the pose for them and that was that.

Regardless, they all say photos are screened for innapropriateness when you go up to the counter to buy them so I don't see why you assumed there was anything innapropriate in the photo. If it appeared on the screen in the first place then there was nothiong wrong with it.

Although yes, I do feel it was innapropriate for the cm to say it in a way that it upset you and your daughter and I hope it didn't ruin your trip. However she only said it was 'innapropriate' (Whether it was or not) is totally fine. I'm sure she didn't shout and curse at you and what not. You should just ignore it and let your daughter do as she pleases, as long as only two fingers are extended next time..

In an ironic twist... a few years ago we were standing outside RNR getting pictures taken by a Disney photographer who had our kids do the pose in question (without the tongue). We couldn't stop our DS from doing it after that.

I'm pretty sure I've got a pic of myself on everest doing that same pose!
So... I think the CM was out of order, as she upset your daughter. end of. I would make a complaint!

Dude I havent edited anything.I will not get on here to defend what I havent done. You have no way of saying I have edited it. it was others thatsaid the picture was blocked not me. If you and others feel this thread has no point then go on and go some where else to post.

Just want to say I understand your point.. I would feel the same if it were my dd.

Thank you so much. It seems the post has gotten alittle off topic as to weather the picture was blocked or not. I just wanted my Ash top be happy and be carefree while we are in the happiest place on earth.:)

It seems that there were a number of posts that were deleted. I think what is lost here is that the "horns" sign, which is for the most part quite innocuous can be easily mistaken for the "shocker" sign, which I would say has the same level of vulgarity as the middle finger.

The CM said she had to check to see if it was inappropriate. My guess is she was scanning through the pictures, saw the blurry image of your daughters hand, and took a second look to make sure it was the horns and not something else.

She should have then said - nope, nothing bad, all is good.

OF course she is not going to explain to a 12 year old that the horns sign is close to another sign, because that is going to cause the 12 year old to then questions (either the CM or you later) just what the "bad" sign is.

Ideally she should have couched the explination in such a way as to not upset your daughter, but in the grand scheme of things, I really don't think it was a huge offense on the CM's part. My 13 y/o daughter would not have cared.
