What are the chances Disney World gets the same attraction that is at Disneyland Paris, i think it would be a huge hit at Disney Hollywood Studios, Could easily be built in numerous locations!!! Thoughts??? Any Knowledge on the matter????

If I remember correctly I read it has many problems with how it runs while incorporating the show scenes. I think we have more than enough Nemo things in the parks but you never know.

It was looked at, albeit briefly. It won't happen.

The WDSP version has issues with load capacity and track stresses.

Really? Could you give more detail? I've been on it twice and never seen any issues.

I remember reading that it has problems with stress on the track due to the speeding up and slowing down repeatedly. Rocket Rods wreaked havoc on the old people Mover track at DLR for the same reason.

It won't come to WDW for one simple reason (track stresses can always be fixed)....capacity.

Crush's coaster at DLP is the single worst loading ride at any Disney park -- even on empty day, the queue is 70 minutes or longer within 30 minutes of opening...there just isn't any way to speed up the process or increase the number of ride vehicles...and you can not incorporate any type of fastpass system to the queue...

That same line, if it were to be in WDW, would require FOUR separate tracks to keep up with the 70 minute wait times, let alone reasonable wait times (45 minutes or less)...It will never happen.

It's a great coaster -- I ride it (almost) every visit to DLP, but absolutely refuse to wait in any line over 60 minutes.

WDSP turned down the duel track version so is saddled with a poor THC. The double version would alleviate some issues but as said above there are also stress issues which means it needs as much TLC as the Matterhorn.

False. I've been to Disneyland Paris twice within the past year, and at the middle of the day, it was only up to 60 minutes.

But, best to go at the start of the day. I made the mistake the first time I visited of saving it until the end of the day, so I had to wait like 30 minutes in line. Next time, I started with Crush's Coaster, and only had to wait 15 minutes.

Are the stress issues a function of the coaster type being used? Usually you don't see these types of coasters getting the type of demand the Crush's Coaster has. Is this part of the problem that faces Primeval Whirl - I know the ride types aren't identical but they appear to be similar.

Well, that's a shame. It's a terrific ride

PW has no roll in it's movement right? It only dips forward and backwards, and flat turns. Crush rolls left and right too I believe. Maybe part of the difference?

Primeval Whirl doesn't have any banked corners while I believe Crush's Coaster does. I would think that the banked corners on the spinning ride vehicles would probably be less stress.

Well, it stinks that we wont be getting the Crush Coaster. It sounds really cool. It sounded like a great option for HS that would be thrilling, but still great for families. All I can say is...HS needs SOMETHING...

I believe the attraction also tells a story nearly identical to the one being told at the Seas with Nemo and Friends (and the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage).

Correct.

They are all VERY similar in that dept. The coaster/dark ride hybrid just does it best!

~Looking forward to Sebastian: Best ToT Bellhop in the world!~
