I had a feeling it would get this bad this year with toon town being closed. I just checked and HM is at 60 now and PPF is at 125.

3 hour wait for Space Mountain. 2.5 hours for Thunder, Tower of Terror, Test Track.

I'm sorry to insult people, but if you wait that long for a ride, you're an idiot.

That is insulting. If this is the only week you can go (as is clearly the case for many--thus the crowds) and Fastpasses are already gone (as I am sure they are) then your options are: A) ride nothing and go sit in your hotel room or B) wait in line. You can only see the Country Bears so many times before you decide it's time to wait in line for a big ticket ride. I doubt every person in those 3 hour lines is an imbecile.

I would never desire to go this week, but if you have kids, especially this year (when Christmas and New Years are on Sundays, so this is literally the only week most kids in America have off), it's now or never.

It's more crowded than on Christmas day. I know it's the busiest time of the year, but everyone just decided that Wednesday was the day to go? This is why we go in September or early December. You would be better off just staying at the resort all day and wasting your passes. I know I would.

I just returned to Pop from Animal Kingdom. It was packed! We got to the park at opening (7:00 AM) and it was great. Practically empty for 2-3 hours. Rode Everest 4 times between Fastpasses and short standby line in AM. Rode Safari via Fastpass around 8:30. Was best ride ever. Saw tons of animals close up. Tigers on Jungle Trek were very active. Great day overall, but glad we left when we did. Saw all attractions except Kali (too cool), Flights of Wonder, and Conservation Station.

This is unfortunately one of the reasons we're down here right now (that and the opportunity to visit with my wife's family during the sme time period). We are lucky though in the fact we'll have the week right after New Years to also visit the parks, when many have returned home and to school. But many simply don't have that option, as evidenced by the park closures and wait times.
