Is anyone else slightly disappointed with these new "interactive" queues they keep adding to the park?
I recently experienced the new Pooh queue and while it was cute it was also confusing and took up a bunch of space.
The HM queue was what did it for me though. I rather liked just waiting and seeing bits and pieces of creepy stuff, and now it's like a big playground that seems to detract from the building's creepy exterior. I liked that it was sparse and mysterious.
Don't get me wrong, the stuff is neat and has all sorts of stuff for a HM geek like to me to savor, but I just don't feel like it fits. I also liked where the tombstones for Grandpa Marc, X. Attencio and Master Gracey were prior to the reconstruction, but I guess I can't will them all. :/
PS: The new hitchhiking ghosts animatronics are lovely, but I'm still unsure about the new animation system. I sorta liked the old mirror with mannequins on a track system they had, but then again, technology has advanced so much it did look a bit hokey.
I suppose I'm touchy since HM is my favorite attraction of all time....
